Cashing in On Loyalty Rewards

CNN is promoting the journalist Natasha Bertrand, who wrote the 2020 Politico report on intel officials who called the Hunter Biden laptop Russian disinformation. In other words, instead of paying a price for pushing disinformation, she is being rewarded for it. [More]

Well, yeah, because otherwise, she wouldn’t have been a team player.

This is CNN.

Good thing for her they’re highly trained law enforcement!

Now maybe the NBC News “real reporter” can explain what a “legally registered gun” in Texas is…

Who cares if the narrative’s a demonstrable lie?

They’re desperate to prove they’re team players

Especially since AI can propagandize cheaper, and it’s not exacly like most “Authorized Journalists” know how to do anything useful…

The Neutral Zone

“Now she’s got to sharpen her message… she’s got a month to make her case,” noted Reed, who is once again neutral in the GOP nomination after helping to steer a super PAC that was supporting former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s unsuccessful 2024 campaign. [More]

Right. A “Never Trumper” Vichycon Christie supporter is “neutral.”

I also see Faux News’ Paul Steinhauser made a point of throwing sand on frontrunner momentum and emphasizing “Iowa’s low-turnout Republican presidential caucuses” and “the former president’s nearly twelve point margin over Haley was below what most of the final public opinion surveys conducted ahead of the primary had suggested.”

With “real reporter” layoffs becoming a thing, I guess he’s trying to stay competitive with AI

Meet the New Boss

In news shared exclusively with The 19th, GIFFORDS, the gun safety advocacy organization founded by former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, has named veteran campaign manager Emma Brown as its new executive director. [More]

I like the way they say “We’re an independent… newsroom” and call Jennifer Gerson “Reporter.”

Imams Demand Action

Republicans have reacted with prayers following the Perry school shooting but no proposals to change gun laws. [More]

Whereas Democrats reacted before the facts were known by demanding “universal background checks,” “assault weapon” and magazine bans, and a host of other irrelevant infringements that wouldn’t have made a damn bit of difference– the loser even used a Biden-approved pump-action Fudd gun.

I wonder what the owners of Al Jazeera would do with such a troubled teenager in their country

Or with Karine Jean Pierre, for that matter…

Theh thought strikes that “real reporters” KINSEY CROWLEY AND SARA CHERNIKOFF of USA Today (a Gannett Publication) would be right at home writing press releases for Giffords.

And I guess it doesn’t enter what passes for the idiot sign holder’s mind that a man with murder on his mind wouldn’t need a gun, and if he did and she had one, he’d be.

As Rome Burns

Politico’s Jonathan Martin Can’t Understand Why Anyone’s Talking About the News When There’s FOOTBALL On [More]

I have to say I can’t understand why anyone is surprised that Harvard is run by subversive leeches or expect them to behave any differently, or that when cornered the cowards would throw one of their own under the bus, but I gotta say I’m getting a kick out of seeing another Prizker exposed for what they all are.

And I totally understand why “real reporters” are what they are and do what they do. Martin is the “journalist” who figured the best way to end an article about Obama grilling “would-be appointees” with personal questions about their guns with this quote:

“The real question is whether he’s doing harm to the broader image of Democrats on guns, and the answer is probably no,” he said. “It may gin up 350,000 hard-core NRA types, but it won’t really bother 65 million other gun owners.”
