Embrace the Vibrancy!

Venezuela’s worst gangsters have crossed into the US illegally and are unleashing chaos in Dallas, Chicago and Miami – with fearful residents saying they’ve had tires slashed, windows shot out in retribution for reporting them to cops [More]

Rigorous!

What are these “legitimate refugees” they’re referring to? Did they apply on the Mexican side and get permission to come over?

Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue.” And I have that on good authority.

We’re the Only Ones Untargeting Enough

“There is no evidence that she was attempting to kill anyone. Essentially what they are doing is they’re taking the offense of shooting into a vehicle and saying that she was attempting to kill somebody,” Fernandez’s lawyer argued. [More]

What’s the lawyer’s name? I’d like to ask him if there’s any legal whoring he won’t do.

Interesting people they give armed authority over you and me to…

Ride into the Danger Zone

And now people aren’t hesitating to pull out guns and shoot and not only kill innocent individuals, but hurt bystanders,” Castor, the former Chief of Police, said… Castor also called on gun owners to take more responsibility in safely securing their weapons by not leaving firearms in unlocked vehicles. [More]

Why would anyone, with feral morons like that running loose? Why would anyone feel like they had to?

And when are we going to get the 411 on young Tyrell and any priors…?

Fiend Friendly

A sign at the door of the bowling alley says, “We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing firearms in this building and we would appreciate it if you left them in your vehicle. Please keep our atmosphere family friendly.” That notice did not stop the suspect from entering and opening fire. [More]

I’d go further and suggest it encouraged him that his chances of success were increased.

Also from SAF:

A federal judge in California has granted a preliminary injunction in a Second Amendment Foundation challenge of two California statutes prohibiting gun shows at the Orange County Fairgrounds and on state-owned property, while denying a requested stay to allow the state time to file an appeal.

Reports of Gun Smuggling to Mexico Recalls Fast and Furious Gunwalking Plot

The intent here appears to be to once more blame “lax American gun laws” for Mexican cartel carnage and to assist in the deception… [More]

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.

Hunter Biden legal team may need to overhaul defense strategy in gun case [More]

That drives the timing on resurrecting one FOIA and pressing one complaint:

And point of order on that “second gun”– the (extremely NSFW!) Marco Polo report, at the top of page 282, claims:

“Five days after he illegally obtained a .38 caliber handgun, Hunter solicited a female to the Red Roof Plus+ in Newark. During the tryst, he posed with what he claimed was a black ‘airgun,’” [further identified in a footnote as a] “PT-80 Semi-Auto .177 Cal. CO2 Pellet Pistol 8 shot magazine from GAMO.”

No?

In any case, I’m interested in finding out if any report raised the question of Biden lying on the 4473 before this one.

The Takeaway

According to the bulletin, citing law enforcement, Card recently reported mental health issues, which included hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard base in Maine. The person of interest was allegedly committed to a mental health facility for two weeks during the summer of 2023. [More]

So who decided someone this abnormally dangerously disturbed was safe to unleash on the rest of us after two weeks?

Your typical right wing hate machine. [More]

Let’s See The Little B@$+@rd$ Work Their Way Out of This!

That blocks teens from open carrying because minors can’t get a concealed carry license. [More]

If they’re “at least 19 years of age or eighteen years of age and a member of the United States Armed Forces, or honorably discharged from the United States Armed Forces, and is not otherwise prohibited from carrying a firearm,” they can.

And who’s dumb enough to think it will stop the ones who can’t from being armed?

So Much for ‘Crime Gun Intelligence’

“The flow of crime guns to those people. How are they being armed? Many of them are felons, people who the law says can’t have weapons yet there finding them anyway.” [More]

So the guy in charge admits what he’s doing isn’t working and his solution is to do more of it…?

And marvel at the way professional “Authorized Journalists” are not only subject matter ignorant but grade-schoolers with their stock-in-trade, the English language.

So much for the “tenants” of journalism…

ATF Employee Caught Gun Running to Mexico [More]

This is the topic I was thinking of writing up in detail.

I do have a quibble:

The Mexican Government makes the bold claim that 70% of all guns used in crimes were smuggled into Mexico from the United States.

That used to be the claim the antis all made, but they started at “95 to 100 percent.” Now the DSM is more properly qualifying things by saying:

Nearly 70% of TRACED [emphasis added] firearms used to commit crimes and seized in Mexico come from the United States, according to ATF.

So instead of being a flat-out lie, it’s now an insidious lie of omission, because they don’t then inform:

No specific numbers on how many of those guns “recovered in Mexico and traced back to the United States” were, in fact, military purchases, but the State Department cables indicate a portion of the fewer than 12 percent of the traceable weapons actually came from the United States in gun shop/individual type purchases. Remember, that’s not 12 percent of the tens of thousands of weapons recovered – it’s only 12 percent of the weapons recovered that were traceable. It’s nowhere near the 12 percent figure that has been misquoted and used as evidence of the United State’s “horrific” problem of illegal gun sales.

Now, tell us more about the drunks
