Ari Dodge Sheehan, the counseling secretary for the Seattle-area Lynnwood High School, in March sent an employee-wide email to promote “Transgender Visibility Day” and provide guidelines on how to work with transgender students. The message included a section on “terms to avoid” that listed “born a man,” “born a woman,” “biologically male,” “biologically female,” “biological boy,” “biological girl,” “genetically male,” and “genetically female.” [More]

It will be selectively enforced in such a way to only apply to the destruction of Gab, Truth Social, Parler, and the like, and give the giant administration-friendly Twitter and Facebook platforms all the legal excuses they need to up the censorship on behalf of the government…

They asked him about Colorado and Dominion voting machines, then provided him a warrant to seize his phone. At first, he said, he didn’t want to turn it over because he runs all of his companies off that phone and he couldn’t operate without it. They didn’t raid him at his home. They tracked him down. He had been on a hunting trip in Iowa and was driving back. He stopped at a Hardee’s in Mankato, Minnesota. That’s when they appeared out of nowhere. They went to the trouble of hunting him down. That was to send an ominous message.
He’s lucky he was in a public place. Imagine the free rein they’d have had if they’d pulled him over on a secluded stretch of road.

In a letter today to FTC Chair Khan, the senators highlighted the firearms industry’s efforts to mislead consumers about the safety of guns and the employment of advertising tactics that target children and teenagers – including using video games, popular musicians and television shows, and even Santa Claus to market its deadly products. There is no level of obsession too ludicrous for these power freaks to demand control over. None.

Attorneys representing the Second Amendment Foundation and its partners in the case of Jones v. Bonta, challenging a California law restricting the rights of young adults to purchase long guns, are asking the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for an “All Writ” enjoining the state from enforcing a new state law that penalizes plaintiffs in cases contesting state gun laws. Why should arrogant tyrants who ignore the Second Amendment with impunity have any respect for the First?

The New Civil Liberties Alliance, the Attorney General of Missouri, and the Attorney General of Louisiana, have filed a lawsuit that blows the lid off a sprawling federal censorship regime that will shock the conscience of Americans. The joint statement on discovery disputes in the lawsuit, State of Missouri ex rel. Schmitt, et al. v. Joseph R. Biden, Jr., et al., reveals scores of federal officials across at least eleven federal agencies have secretly communicated with social-media platforms to censor and suppress private speech federal officials disfavor. This unlawful enterprise has been wildly successful. [More]
A Justice Department that wasn’t a prime violator would make this a top priority. That it won’t tells us much.

That way, supportive “private” actors can do the government’s censorship dirty work for it without triggering First Amendment alarms.

Louisiana Sheriff Loses Tax Lawsuit Targeting Smith Angus Farm [More]
I see the sheriff bills himself as a “Republican”… I guess he stuck a wet finger in the air to see which way the wind was blowing, but at heart, we know what he’ll always be.
And he’s done one other thing that may be actionable:
Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office limited who can comment on this post.
How is that not a First Amendment violation?

New York State Senate blocks citizens on Twitter, an unconstitutional move to crush dissent [More]
If you can eviscerate the Second Amendment with impunity, why would the First worry you? And it’s just fine, of course, with Twitter, which does the Democrats’ bidding in a fascist public/private partnership workaround. Besides, policy violations only result in expulsion for those deemed enemies of the regime.

The ATF claims that Hoover conspired with Ervin to sell lightning links. They further contended, quite audaciously, that raising money for Ervin’s legal defense was part of that conspiracy on the theory that, if Ervin won his case, Hoover would be able to advertise the card again. The ATF admits that Hoover never sold any cards but maintains that, since he promoted the AutoKeyCard, he was also guilty.[More]
Tyrants don’t like the First Amendment any better than they do the Second. We’ll see if this “unravels.” Me, I don’t trust the referees.
They really do seem to have been piling up the in-your-face outrages of late, almost like they have expectations they’ll be able to keep squeezing. Either that or somebody is trying to provoke something so they have an excuse to go all out.

Making this all the more believable.
Aided and abetted by social media and the DSM. One fantasy I have is that someday, government collusion with these “private” entities to suppress truthful reporting will be proven in court and First Amendment violators, both government instigators, and their de facto “agents,” will receive the punishments they deserve.

We need a bit more than that. If you know any sources who would be willing to talk to House Oversight and Senate Judiciary Republicans, lemme know and I’ll see what I can help set up.
Maybe it’s time for a FOIA request or two from some of the prominent ones? It would be revealing to get back a refusal because they don’t talk about ongoing investigations!
