We’re the Only Ones Losing Enough

$6,000 worth of Lincoln Police equipment stolen from officer’s personal vehicle [More]

Not having professional training, an amateur like me always locks his car.

I wonder what they mean by “other forms of issued equipment,” because the stuff they list just doesn’t add up. Of course, I also wonder why they don’t tell us the moron’s name along with who lives at the apartment complex and what he was doing there.

We’re the Only Ones Tasteful Enough

A Homeland Security agent and his friend were accidentally shot at a wine tasting in Florida when his gun fell to the ground, according to police. [More]

I need to up my training. Not being a professional, my wife and I have been going to a wine-tasting fundraiser for a group we support for many years now, and I haven’t even come close to shooting myself, let alone her along with me.

One question though: Is that what I think it is?

Anybody know if off-duty “Only Ones” are exempt?

Coming Soon, to a Democrat City Near You

The child was found in at 1 a.m. downtown Phoenix, AZ near one of the largest homeless encampment sites in the area nicknamed “The Zone.” The child was reportedly 20-24 weeks gestation and was found in the middle of the road. The baby was left near a dumpster at the encampment where over 1000 un-homed individuals live. The child was at an age where he or she could have survived outside the womb yet was not only abandoned but also burned to death. [More]

Did it hurt less than being drawn and quartered in utero?

So the new politically correct term is “un-homed”?

Sounds like we need communist bureaucrats to centrally control housing!

Playing Hobbs

Hobbs wins Arizona governor’s race, flipping state for Dems [More]

Yeah, about that:

In addition to Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema, Arizona is pretty much now ruled by the high population center Democrat strongholds.

Funny… I don’t see “More Freedom” in any of the reasons the nest foulers give for moving there.

A Marked Improvement

Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer has won the open U.S. House seat in Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, flipping the district for the GOP in a hard-fought contest that drew millions in outside money to the state. Chavez-DeRemer’s victory makes her the first Latina congresswoman from Oregon, a distinction also sought by 6th District Democratic candidate Andrea Salinas. That race remained too early to call. [More]

Aside from not knowing where rights come from, this sounds promising:

Our founding documents give us the right to keep and bear arms. The Second Amendment is our safeguard against tyranny in the United States. We have seen the left go after our right to protect ourselves time and time again. They politicize national tragedies to argue that law abiding citizens should have their guns confiscated. Law abiding gun owners have never been the problem. Violent crime is caused by criminals. The left doesn’t want to talk about cracking down on illegal drugs, gang violence, antifa, rioting, or looting. They want to ban you from protecting yourself and your family. They want to redefine our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Washington, D.C. radicals believe in multiculturalism, moral relativism, and that socialism, “just hasn’t really been tried yet.” They want open borders, government-funded healthcare, and abortion on demand. I won’t stand for it. We must defend our rights.

Stopping 114

We are all in on this fight. Oregon Firearms Educational Foundation will use every resource at our disposal to overturn this mean spirited, evil attack on our rights in court. Period. But we have to act fast to save the many small businesses that the “people of faith” in Portland have been working to destroy. [More]

I’ll be working this afternoon on an article about this.

We’re the Only Ones ‘Gotta Catch ’em All’ Enough

Former JoCo deputy loses police license after fraudulently trying to buy Pokémon cards [More]

I wonder if I could commit a felony and get a “diversion agreement,” because I can’t tell you how many times “stress and anxiety” have induced me to rip off others…

Start the Steal

Yes, you heard that right. We’ve been getting gaslit for months about the ‘end of democracy’, and this guy wants to completely circumvent the democratic process by replacing the president without an election, solely to increase Democrat chances of maintaining power in 2024. Never Trumpish, former conservatives are something else. [More]

On the plus side, nobody will be able to complain about the voting machines…

Nothing to See Here

In other words, the corrupt Ukraine regime partnered with a corrupt crypto slush fund to take dollars from the corrupt US government and funnel them into the hands of corrupt Democrat candidates to win rigged mid-term elections. [More]

Nothing about that connection on CNN… so does that mean they’re helping bury it or does that mean fakery is being introduced to obscure the truth and protect something else?

I’m sure the media and Congress will get right on finding the truth about the second-largest donor to the utterly fraudulent “party of the workin’ man” after George Soros…

Anybody Else See a Disconnect?

Stefanik endorses Trump for president in 2024, as some push him to delay announcement [More]

She’s returning love he gave when she was running for GOP Conference Chair against Rep. Chip Roy, and Trump said:

“Can’t imagine Republican House Members would go with Chip Roy—he has not done a great job, and will probably be successfully primaried in his own district. I support Elise, by far, over Chip!”

Not only was he not primaried, he just delivered for the GOP in a landslide, 63% to 37%.

What’s Trump’s signature issue?

Stefanik’s mediocre C+ rating from Numbers USA (up from a D- a few years ago) includes a wholly unacceptable “F” for “Reduce Unnecessary Worker Visas,” an “F-” for “Reduce Refugee and Asylum Fraud,” and a “D+” for “Reduce Illegal Jobs and Presence.”

And she was one of 34 GOP turncoats calling for “DACA amnesty.”

Compare to Roy, with an “A+.” He’s better all around.

I guess not going along to get along was the dealbreaker.

What’s Trump’s signature issue again? Maybe he’d like to take my challenge?

We’ve already established the guy is so good at firing people because he’s so lousy at hiring them. This business of bestowing support based on who’s stroking his ego is going to kill us..

Speaking of ‘Every Terrible Implement’…

Large-capacity magazines are not “arms” protected by the Second Amendment because they are not essential to the use of firearms… Additionally, large-capacity magazines are not protected “arms” because they are not commonly used for self-defense. [More]

Since that directly follows an “Overview of Bruen’s text-and-history standard for analyzing Second Amendment claims,” I wonder what Tench would say to that…?

Legal weasel Rob Bonta proves the point that if you limit arguments to “self-defense” and ignore core purpose, you’re not using every means at your disposal.
