Shooting in Old Dominion University hall injures two; gunman dead [More]
You’d think at a college people’d know how to read:

Gov. Mark Gordon on Tuesday vetoed a bill geared toward penalizing Wyoming police agencies that help with federal gun enforcement initiatives or hire former federal agents involved in such operations. President Donald Trump’s administration supports this veto, Gordon wrote in a Tuesday statement. [More]

And I can see the bastards pulling a DeStefano on an out-of-state supplier who won’t comply. (Looks like they gave up on trying to raise funds because no one wanted to help plant the seed, water the crop, harvest the grain, mill the flour, and bake the bread.)
I’m wondering if the “unfunded mandate” used in Printz to invalidate Brady Law requirements might be applicable in fighting this, or is that just an escape clause for public entities against the feds?

Wait… they’re suing “this Department of Justice [will] use its full might to protect the Second Amendment” Pam Bondi, appointed by “Your Second Amendment will always be safe with me as your president” Donald Trump…?
Hey, they’re just following orders. If you don’t like the law, vote to change it. That’s what they told Rosa Parks, isn’t it?
Right, Blue State gun owners?
A four-time deported illegal immigrant from Honduras with 15 prior criminal charges shoved two victims onto the tracks at a New York City subway station this week, including an 83-year-old Air Force veteran who remains in critical condition, according to reports. [More]

The top Justice Department prosecutor for civil liberties and voting rights tells Just the News that her ongoing review of state voter rolls has proven tens of thousands of noncitizens made it into a position to cast ballots and that hundreds of thousands of dead or departed residents were not properly removed from state election systems. [More]
What could possibly motivate “state election offices and federal judges [to block] her office from her historic effort to obtain and review every state’s voter roll ahead of the 2026 midterm elections”…?
Especially if suspicions about voter fraud are “baseless” conspiracy theories promoted by white supremacist Nazi fascists intent on disenfranchising minority voters by requiring proof of citizenship/ID…?

From Biden’s ‘war’ on gas prices to ‘small price to pay,’ GOP shifts tone as Iran conflict hits pumps – Gas prices jumped 50 cents per gallon since Operation Epic Fury began, reaching $3.54 average nationwide [More]
So, with a “war” under Trump it’s basically .02/gal. more than in Biden’s heyday.
Nobody remembers the sacrifices that had to be made by “the greatest generation”– and the sacrifices they required of enemy civilian populations.
Ol’ Clausewitz was right, and it’s pretty obvious the freak-out-over-no-toilet-paper generation will fold like a cheap suit and vote in communists if subjected to what would previously have been considered inconveniences.
And don’t get me wrong– I’m still not convinced that the course we’re on is the best one, I’m merely making an observation about the fortitude of an electorate that more often than not asks what their country can do for them.
Oh, look: There is no joy in Mudville.

And yes, the anti-gun position IS immoral.
Anyone who needs that explained has no business writing about the Second Amendment, let alone being considered a leading authority on it.
I’m going to start calling his site The Load.

American gun owners got quite a chuckle nine months ago when California Gov. Gavin Newsom was gifted a Sig Sauer P365-Xmacro pistol while appearing on podcaster Shawn Ryan’s Tennessee-based program, and their amusement is continuing as media reports note the far-left Democrat still can’t get his pistol because of Golden State gun control laws. And Newsom doesn’t care. He doesn’t have to.

How that translates into electability is anybody’s guess, but anyone who says Texas will go solidly and reliably “red” may have a point, if you go back to the original understanding of the term.

Courageous Tibet Refuses to Succumb to CCP Repression… [More]
Gun laws in Tibet are governed by the strict national regulations of the People’s Republic of China, which enforce some of the world’s tightest controls. Civilian firearm ownership is generally prohibited, with exceptions limited to specific hunting permits or, occasionally, for certain ethnic minorities. Personal possession of firearms is forbidden, with guns primarily reserved for military, police, and approved security personnel. Violations, including unauthorized possession, carry severe penalties under Chinese law.

All the louder voices are out in force:
I see from a buildup of negative comments on X by those who refuse to consider the evidence that I can spend my time today trying to get those who will not see to look, or I can do something I find productive and rewarding.
We’ll see if anybody writes a “critique” outside of social media. From the arguments I’ve seen so far, deconstructing them won’t be hard– the trick is getting anyone to listen.

With the danger to recognition of the right to keep and bear arms clear if Democrats succeed in changing the electorate, claiming a “single issue” excuse is a cop-out. If the fear is that the media and Democrats will portray them as fascists and racists, that’s been happening for years, and no amount of conciliatory compromises is going to change that. [More]
