For lies of omission they want to be paid?

Anybody see any mention of how this became known?
But they’re not “woke.” Honest.

I guess it’s OK when they do it…

What happens here will be a bellwether for the midterms. We’re either serious about this — and willing to do all the necessary things — or we’re not and we won’t.

I really am so out of tune with fellow gun owners that I’ll always just be a fringe guy in a niche. I have never grokked why they need to be offered incentives to do the right thing (and that’s assuming donating money here would be the right thing).
Maybe that’s why this campaign will rake in tons of dough while I can’t even get but a handful to help a friend in need, share a link, or lift a finger to advance a joint effort we’d all benefit from.
I wonder what kind of merchandise they offered to get farmers to show up at Lexington and Concord…?

Safe firearm storage just got more accessible in San Francisco. Mayor Daniel Lurie and Supervisor Stephen Sherrill on Thursday announced a first-of-its-kind program that allows residents to drop off their guns at any of the city’s 10 police stations, where San Francisco police will securely store them for up to a year at no cost. [More]
And best of all, it’s the brainchild of someone with fatally poor judgment in the men she sleeps with!
Question: If they really believe San Franciscans are this stupid, and based on voting patterns that can’t be far off, how is it they’re qualified to handle and transport firearms safely and legally from their homes to the designated drop-offs? It’d be something if some well-intentioned dupe who didn’t pay attention to the details came strolling into a station holding a gun to lock up only to be blown away by panicking Only Ones…
It’s be even funnier if a gun turned in for storage ended up at a crime scene…

“The trooper stepped up and immediately told me my car’s exhaust was way too loud and was disturbing the peace,” Mike continued. “I tried telling him it’s an EV and doesn’t have an exhaust or an engine, and he stated he’s not gonna argue with me.” [More]
The loudest thing I heard was that obnoxious and wholly unnecessary yelping coming from the copmobile. And what’s with “the officer”? The public doesn’t deserve to know this petty Barney Fife’s name?
Interesting, though, that Dodge feels the need to make their EV Charger sound like something not driven by George Jetson.

Erin Patterson, 50, was found guilty in July of murdering three people, including the parents, aunt and uncle of her estranged husband, Simon Patterson, with a beef wellington meal she had deliberately laced with death cap mushrooms picked near her rural home in the state of Victoria in 2023. Well, yeah, because learning is racist.
I wonder how many have relatives in jail… Still, I can almost forgive these children because they don’t know any better and have had their views shaped from Day One by idiots, useful and otherwise — like on-camera spokesgelding Patrick Clark, who parrots the narrative right at the start, with his insipid “young people advocating for commonsense gun safety measures” lead-in.

Mr. Wolf says don’t bet on it (NSFW).
Republicans have a unique talent for turning advantage into catastrophe, and there’s nothing more wedded to insanity than a Democrat constituency. The last thing we need is lazy gun owners figuring they don’t have to do anything besides squabble with each other in internet comments because the echo chambers they frequent tell them a Red Wave is unstoppable.

Fun fact about Charlotte’s transit system – you aren’t allowed to concealed carry even with a permit. They have no security on the train or buses, but you aren’t allowed to protect yourself. [More]
Look at everything they equate it with:

Kinda makes you not want to take the train even if they don’t let feral savages on… although, in truth, who else would you need to tell not to do some of this stuff (not that the ones who need to be told would ever listen)?

Attorneys representing the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) have filed a motion for summary judgment in its lawsuit challenging Illinois law that bans firearms in homes licensed to provide foster or day care.
