We’re the Only Ones Liquor Talking Enough

Boston police detective charged with drunk driving after Brookline crash… McKeown was swearing at the other driver and blaming him for the accident… He initially refused when officers attempted to conduct field sobriety tests and stated “Trooper, do you understand who I am?” [More]

What an @$$hole. Can you imagine being at this oinker’s mercy, especially after he’s had a few?

I’m a firm believer that how a person behaves when drunk does not excuse them, but instead shows what they’re really like with the filters removed.

A Reminder to Our Subjects on Who’s Still in Charge

Subject: ATF FFL ALERT – ATLANTA FD

This is an important message from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. All FFLs should be aware that Machinegun Conversion Devices (MCDs) is a part, or a combination of parts, designed to modify a semi-automatic firearm so it is capable of firing automatically more than one shot by a single function of the trigger. These devices, often called switches, chips, auto sears are considered machineguns under the law. The possession, manufacture, and/or sale of machine gun conversion devices without proper licensing is a federal offense.

Please see the attach flyer which illustrates different Machinegun Conversion Devices (MCDs). These devices are defined as machineguns under the National Firearms Act, even when not installed.

See, right after “shall not be infringed” imagine it saying “except for…”

I’m told “This is NOT about Forced Reset Trigger (FRT); Which are legal.”

For now.

Still no action from President Trump

Speaking of Being Woke…

People in the home reported being woken up by the sound of a gunshot. They found the 4-year-old and a 2-year-old child at the foot of Young’s bed with the weapon. Young, who admitted to keeping the gun under her pillow every night, was the only person in the home who owned a firearm, police said. [More]

And she slept through that? Anybody do a blood test on her?

Tell me this isn’t the best reason ever to force “safe storage laws” on you and me.

We’re the Only Ones Unaccountable Enough

“We’ve been arguing for years that Mansur was unarmed and was shot in the back and killed in cold blood. And today, a federal jury of nine unanimously agreed with us,” Dennis’ attorney, Javad Khazaeli, said. Officers involved were not charged. [More]

A Self-Created Problem

Under current law, New York’s governor has 10 days to declare a special election for a vacant seat and an additional 80 to 90 days to hold the election. Stefanik’s seat is key for the Republican Party and Trump’s second administration, as Republicans hold a slim majority at 218 members to the Democrats’ 215 members. [More]

So why does Trump think it’s more important to have a UN ambassador?

Breaking Kapu Tradition

On January 16, 2025, Honolulu US District Judge Micah W.J. Smith “permanently enjoined” the Hawaii Attorney General from “enforcing (a gun ownership ban) against … COFA migrants.”The ruling in Peter v Lopez comes in response to a November 27, 2024 lawsuit filed by Second Amendment attorneys Alan Beck and Kevin O’Grady. This is the latest in a long string of Hawaii Second Amendment victories scored by the duo. [More]

They’re legally here…? Then what’s the problem?

Brain Trust

A “cannibal” who killed a homeless man and ate his eyes and brain was committed in 2013 to Connecticut’s custody for a term of 60 years, then released from the secure facility where he had been housed on “temporary leave” to a group home in September 2023. A hearing scheduled for February 21 will determine whether he is essentially set free under “conditional release.” [More]

One thing I’d add: The Mexican government serves at the pleasure of the cartels. By that I mean no official is beyond their reach if they really want to take them out, and even the ones who aren’t directly in their thrall know that and conduct themselves accordingly.
