Notes from the Resistance
The phone crapped out on me. Had to get a new one. Couldn’t get the old one to work to transfer data. Setting the new one up. Have a special project I’m working on for Firearms News and an article due at AmmoLand. New range hood came in and have to install. Relatives in town and staying with us.
Joliet Jake has all my other excuses.
I may not do any blogging at all today. Hold off on tips and emails, please…
I’m wondering what we could possibly have to talk about. To find out, go to the Armed American Radio website to stream and listen/watch live, or to find a broadcast radio station near you.
Former Illinois police chief caught shoplifting from Florida Walmart [More]
So is it due to privilege that he gets prosecuted when so many do not…?
A fully-discharged bottle of bear spray was discovered at the scene. The bear was apparently unimpressed! [More]
As previously noted:
The problem is, U.S. Geological Survey researcher Tom Smith has documented cases where pepper spray has proven to be an attractant, and observed “bears on their backs, paws skyward, vigorously rubbing their heads and back in the red pepper-sprayed gravel.”
Colbert, Frost Accuse GOP of Being ‘Okay With Kids Being Mowed Down,’ Poll Taxes [More]
Bitter, lying apparatchiks: Comedy gold!
I still say there’s a place for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed on his show…

Starting in October, three blue states will put into effect a slew of new gun reform legislation. [More]
That Goldfinger… him plenty smart fella.
[Via Jess]
Who thinks Ryna will let coexistence be possible? [More]
That’s pretty sick when even the lefties don’t want anything to do with you.

WEAPONS ABANDONED BY BIDEN ADMINISTRATION APPEAR IN HAMAS TERROR ATTACKS [More]
You ever get the feeling they’re going after the wrong people on guns …?
[Via Jess]
New Hampshire-based firearms company Sig Sauer plans a $150 million expansion of its Elite Performance Ammunition manufacturing facility in Jacksonville to help fulfill its contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. [More]
Great, but help me out here.
What does provisioning the standing army have to do with “defending the Second Amendment” and “reaffirming Arkansans’ right to keep and bear arms…”?
[Via Jess]
There goes any misplaced sympathy I might have had. [More]
Ninth Circuit issues partial stay in California large-capacity gun magazine case – The four dissenting judges railed against the majority decision, calling the Ninth Circuit’s attitude about the Second Amendment “laughably absurd.” [More]
Except this is no laughing matter.
The Ninth Circuit wrote the book on Second Amendment absurdity going back to their “no individual right” days when the late, dunderheaded Cynthia Holcomb Hall wrote:
Moreover, even if we determined that Hickman had standing to sue for violation of the Second Amendment, his suit would nevertheless fail because the Second Amendment is not incorporated into the Bill of Rights.

HAMAS terrorists massacred at least 40 babies and kids in a sickening rampage in one town – with some found beheaded, Israel claimed. [More]
The operative word here is “claimed.” While I put no atrocity beneath those murderous savages, we accept what the DSM feeds us as Gospel at our peril.
And at the risk of P!$$!ng off everyone jumping on the wagon those with hor$e$ in the race want us on, I’ll observe that massacring babies in horrible and agonizing ways is not unique to Hamas.
Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same values, vision or judgment. Today’s announcement is deeply saddening for us. We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous for our country. [More]
Who better to turn to for shared values than Cheatin ‘ Kerry and Lyin’ Kathleen?
Or silver spoon SJW Rory or … what kind of insufferably self-inflated egotist would refer to himself on social media as “Honorable”…?
In terms of Bobby Jr., as I’ve noted before, I’m in the middle of his Fauci Covid fraud book— it’s great. That said, he’s not “one of us,” and it’s in our interests to let those within our spheres of influence know why.
Lying leftist motherf***er says that’s “ambiguous.”
Elias Alias deconstructs more of his moronic and deceptive foolishness in Oath Keepers: Targeted Red. I finished it and need to find time to write a review.
I recommend people buy it. I’ll explain why in my review.
I was surprised to wake up this morning and discover that many MAGAnuts had lost their minds over my suggestion that “Coach” Tuberville not be considered a member of the human race. [More]
And the smug maniac has endorsed worse than that on tens of millions of us. Hey, it’s not like vermin don’t deserve it…
But thanks for “MAGAnuts,” you gernocidal piece of $h!+. You’ve proven my point.
Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced Tuesday that 10,000 assault rifles are being purchased and distributed to civilian security teams in communities along the country’s borders. [More]
This isn’t a case of just handing out rifles to civilians like they did in Ukraine:
Civilian security teams provide security to small towns and communities in Israel’s periphery and in West Bank settlements, some of which helped defend residents from the Hamas invasion on Saturday before the IDF was able to arrive.
But like Ukraine, what the government giveth, the government taketh away:
Approximately three years ago, the IDF began taking away firearms from some of these security teams due to the repeated theft of such weapons … they were essentially unarmed during Hamas’s invasion.
“Gun control” kills.
Biden Welcomed 4 Million Illegal Migrants Within 26 Months [More]
Good thing that where they came from, what their backgrounds are, what their health is, and what agendas they may have are not as important to those arranging all this is as how they’ll vote — as we’re told is their right.
No worries: They’re working on it.
Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue.” And I have that on good authority.
Still no serious takers, though…
I’m sorry the world stole him from us… [More]
That means you and I share culpability.
We should probably be disarmed, no?
It also shows the danger of lazy journalism when a news organization asks no questions/does no independent research, and essentially copies a government press release. To paraphrase the late Paul Harvey, “And now, the rest of the story…” [More]
Another “accidental child gun death” warranting the government to issue a word of caution to the public? How do you “accidentally” shoot your child four times, and would it be too much to ask “professional journalists” to even acknowledge the unexplained disconnect?
Former Dodgers star Steve Garvey jumps into the California Senate race as a Republican [More]
He’s got plenty of “I never played for Democrats or Republicans or independents. I played for all of you” happy-talk platitudes, but where does he stand on anything? And have California Republicans learned anything from the last time they backed celebrity over principle?
At least we know Garvey’s got the screw constituents and duck the fallout part down…
This guy’s got more shady baggage than Sam Brinton…
