The Naked Gun

Packin’ heat: Nude Hunter Biden cavorts with hooker, illegal gun in latest mess for president [More]

Note the “commonsense gun safety” finger on the trigger.

I’m checking to see what effect, if any, this could have on my lawsuit against ATF.

The pictures in the article should be sent via Twitter to every Democrat out there demanding new gun laws, and especially to Joe Biden, with a counter-demand.

I’ve been trying to find more out since first finding out about it upon waking, and may have plenty more to say on this– I’m checking right now on some stuff I don’t see anyone else talking about.

With Friends Like These

If this terrible legislation becomes law, our friends at the National Rifle Association point out tens of millions of law-abiding gun owners would be turned into felons and their lawfully-acquired property would be subject to confiscation by federal agents. [More]

And “our friends at the National Rifle Association” would advise compliance:

“Bill did what any honest, law-abiding American would do…he turned in his SKS Sporter to the police.”

We’re the Only Ones High and Dry Enough

Bickings’ wife who was still on the scene also pleaded with officers to intervene, saying: ‘I’m just distraught because he’s drowning right in front of you and you won’t help.’  The transcript claims one of the officers then threatened to put her in his police car unless she calmed down. [More]

Too bad she didn’t have a dog to shoot.

Supremely Indifferent

The Supreme Court declined on Monday to take up a case brought to it by a Missouri Republican Senate candidate and his wife, who were seeking review of the professional disciplinary action they faced, as lawyers, for pointing guns at racial justice protestors demonstrating outside their St. Louis home. [More]

So “racial justice protestors” typically do this as they go through private property?

Because Nothing Stops Aggression in Nature Like Appearing Weak and Vulnerable

For the love of God, stop fantasizing about a war between US citizens and their military [More]

I agree. Stop fantasizing.

Ensure the deterrent to prevent it from happening is credible:

“[A]rms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe…”

[H/T Herschel]

Just Like the Founders Intended

Editorial in today’s Uvalde Leader-News calls for gun safety measures: “Raise the legal age to purchase all firearms to 21… Remove liability protections for firearms manufacturers… And for God’s sake, restrict high-capacity magazines to law enforcement and the military.” [More]

Because who but the “Only Ones” and the standing army should be able to deploy weapons of war against the people they are tasked with securing the Blessings of Liberty for…?

A Strategic Advance

Murphy: Gun reform talks won’t include assault weapons ban, ‘comprehensive’ background checks [More]

Those will come later after easier obstacles are hurdled without meaningful opposition. The object is to establish a beachhead without expending too many resources from which they can launch future incursions.

You’d think Republicans would know about D-Day.

Framing the Terms

This week will determine if there’s a compromise to be made on Capitol Hill to attempt to prevent gun violence or if this round of talks will end up in an overflowing trash can of failed attempts. [More]

Translation: This week will determine if there’s a betrayal to be made on Capitol Hill to attempt to impose citizen disarmament…

It’s almost like DSM “real reporters” have an agenda or something…

Speaking of Disenfranchising Voters

Californians enacted the law by a statewide referendum with the unambiguous language that the sentence “shall be” imprisonment for at least 25 years and that prosecutors “shall plead and prove all known prior serious or violent felony convictions.” Nonetheless, directly and openly flouting that law, Gascon ordered a blanket policy of refusing to enter the prior convictions into the record. [More]

All that talk about “our democracy” is just that.

We’re the Only Ones Silencing Enough

As you’ll see, the most shocking revelation from the interview comes via CBS’s reporter, who relays Gomez’s claim that some unknown officer threatened her with charges of obstruction of justice if she continued speaking out about the cops’ passivity. That would mean jail time for her, as she’s currently on probation for a prior offense. [More]

In the interests of consistency, if priors can terminate recognition of your Second Amendment rights, why should the First be any different?

The Predator Sanctuary

“…they’re not sure if that person was hit but they did drop their semiautomatic handgun with an extended magazine…” [Watch]

The “real reporter” made sure he got the important part in.  The not-so-important stuff, like who the public dangers were, they left unmentioned.

Surveillance and a police presence no longer deter.  And they’re ginning up demand that “something must be done,” which translates into more “laws” against you, since talking real solutions puts those who do on the fast track for cancellation.
