Living Large

We went to a local restaurant’s grand opening over the weekend and they had cars like this on display to set the mood. Me, I was wondering why I had to park the 2015 Sonic a couple of blocks away.

We were in the middle of the lotus root and Peking duck when the Mrs. nudged me and said “There’s that famous reporter guy over there, the Al Capone’s vault guy…”

I looked over and sure enough, seated with some well-heeled types at the end of a table a few down from ours was none other than Geraldo, who seemed to be having a good time and was, for the most part, not overly bothered by occasional patrons recognizing him and begging for selfies.

I made her squirm a bit when I threatened to walk over and show him a selfie I’d posted some years back.

Based on the number of gun owners contacting them, that is, a handful, they feel they can ignore inquiries. That tells us something about their management. It also tells us about something else.
