I used to call it “home,” but “thanks” to “redistricting,” that home is now in the solidly Democrat 13th Congressional District instead of the solidly Republican 14th, as the demographics in each show.

I used to complain about Dave Joyce being a GOP lump. At least he’s not a “rising star” like Emilia Sykes, whose Congressional Black Caucus-sponsored ads relied heavily on accusations of Republicans being “white supremacists trying to steal our votes.”

“Taxation without representation” used to be a call for resistance. I’m taxed up the wazoo and it’s certainly not me she’s representing.

And no, of course, I don’t agree with the ban. I just can’t help but notice she’d be happy to arrest us for “violating” citizen disarmament laws she agrees with.

I wonder if the “conservative” High Court’s Bruen decision with its “historical understanding” benchmark will end up saving her.
