Worn Out His Welcome

Cameron Kasky… received a brutal but epic SMACKDOWN as he pathetically attempted to censor Scott Jennings [and] insured that he will NEVER again be invited to appear on CNN… [Watch]

Point of order– I’m not aware of any evidence that he is “David Hogg’s ex-boyfriend,” and suspect a sarcasm fail. Not sticking with what can be documented undermines the presenter’s credibility and redirects attention from what can be proven.

Driven to Despair

But when asked for their thoughts on safety measures, cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer readers suggested that arming drivers wouldn’t matter. “It seems some people who own guns must get trigger happy,” another wrote. “If drivers are shot indiscriminately being armed won’t help.” [More]

Kinda explains why they get their “news” from the Plain Dealer

But I will cede one point: You put your back to an assailant to impede turning around and returning fire and you’re definitely going to be at a disadvantage. So the title premise is right: It’s just not worth it.

Not that Johnny Cabs will be an improvement…

New York Times Returns to Old Playbook in Attack on Lake City Ammunition

What we’re seeing is a practical repeat of what the anti-gunners and their media amplifiers were telling the American public prior to “Gunwalker” in an attempt to swindle them out of their rights… [More]

It’s déjà vu all over again.

News You Can Wipe With

In stark contrast, the podcast highlighted Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne’s public stance supporting immigrant communities. [More]

Oh, and Chris also wants your guns. Funny how it always seems to work out that way.

What’s not funny is this in-your-face propaganda piece loaded with collectivist pejorative judgmentalism is filed under “News,” not “Editorials.”

These sanctimonious DSM shills can’t die fast enough.

When Trump Officials’ Claims About Shootings Unravel in Court [More]

I have pretty much the same concerns expressed here.

Don’t make excuses for, and go after the bad.

By the same token, motives matter, especially where “The newsraper of record” is involved. It’s not ad hominem, it’s experience.

What the DSM fails to understand is that past and current biased actions undermine good works they may do.

Aesop told a story about that once.

We’re the Only Ones Criminal Enough?

At least two dozen U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement employees and contractors have been charged with crimes since 2020, and their documented wrongdoing includes patterns of physical and sexual abuse, corruption and other abuses of authority, a review by The Associated Press found. [More]

By all means, expose and pursue criminality and corruption everywhere it is found, and punish the guilty as harshly as they deserve.

That said, how many sworn agents, how many convictions, and how does it compare in numbers and rates with, say, “blue” city and state LE’s — not to excuse anything, but to keep things in perspective?

Sorry, but force of habit makes me wonder about a clumsily-masked agenda every time I see the Associated Press is pushing a narrative, in this case, wanting to aid and abet illegals remaining in this country to give Democrats political dominance.

Looking at “reporter” Ryan J. Foley’s X feed, his sympathies are hardly kept close to the vest.

Follow the Money

Surprise, surprise, surprise!

So, why aren’t we hearing this from any “real reporters”?

And I could swear DOJ has some forensic accountants and RICO laws at their disposal…

Leftists on CNN’s NewsNight Blame Nick Shirley, Trump, and Racism Instead of Somali Fraudsters [More]

That’s the unified talking point you’ll see the DSM and its camp followers parroting. That and “it’s been reported on for years” (which invites the question of why it hasn’t been stopped).

Because they have incentives.

But not if Democrat politicians have their way.

And it’s not just day care centers.

Triggering Shirley Haters

“Sr. Legal Affairs Reporter, @POLITICO,” eh, Josh? A “real reporter,” not one of those “amateurs” you “Authorized Journalists” look down your noses at!

And would you look at that: CNN finally, just today, mentioned Nick Shirley. And it’s basically a “real reporter” grumbling that small, furry mammals are starting to eat dinosaur eggs.

The story is illustrated with a picture of a police officer arresting a suspect. A normal reader would probably assume that it is a photo of the perp in the story–Mohamed Mansarry–being arrested. Only, it isn’t… [More]
