First You Cry

A man who was shot in the arm by Kyle Rittenhouse during the Kenosha riots in 2020 has filed a lawsuit against Rittenhouse and Wisconsin police and officials, Fox News Digital has learned. Gaige Grosskreutz, who testified he pointed a firearm at Rittenhouse before the then-teenager shot Grosskreutz and two others, is seeking economic losses, “damages for emotional distress, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims,” and punitive damages. Pro tip: If you don’t want to be emotionally distressed, humiliated, lose the enjoyment of life, and suffer pain at the hands of another, try not pointing a gun at him.

It’s a well-known and exploitable psychological phenomenon. I’m surprised sentences aren’t being appealed based on exploitation and manipulation by provocateurs trained to agitate and elicit such reactions in crowds.

I wonder if subpoenas by defense attorneys would reveal coordinated plans and instructions.

The Second Amendment Foundation and its partners in the case of Miller v. Bonta, challenging California’s ban on so-called “assault weapons,” have filed a responding brief in the case, countering defense arguments and strategies already rejected by federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court. [More]

Angie Craig’s office criticizes Fox News after receiving threatening messages over DC attack [More]

There’s a difference between sentiments and threats. As there are severe laws against real ones and we’re not told a crime has been committed, the default here is she’s whining and playing the victim for the cameras.

♫ 96-Point-Three, Hate Radio… ♫

Commissioners pulled funding last week after Commissioner Chris Latvala decried the allocation to the station, WBPU 96.3, also known as Black Power 96, over its association with the Uhuru Movement, the African Socialist group. The FBI raided the group’s St. Petersburg headquarters last year. [More]

What, they’re not entitled to have their communist incitement funded by the taxpayers?

I wish I had the musical ability to record that station jingle…

Learning from the Pros

“This was a textbook case of trafficking firearms to Mexico,” ATF Special Agent in Charge Fred Milanowski said in the press release. “Firearms trafficking is illegal and immoral. Unfortunately, the consequences of a firearm illegally possessed in the United States and Mexico can cause danger and harm for decades. As demonstrated by this case, we will continue to investigate and prosecute gun traffickers who endanger the lives of law-abiding citizens in our communities.” [More]
