Spoiler Alert: ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban ~ Government Must Prove That Weapons Are NOT In Common Use [More]
I gotta say, I’m a bit disappointed that not one comment poster over there has raised this point.

Guns now deadlier due to tiny attachments made by 3-D printer [Watch]
They say that like it’s a bad thing…
And like the Founders didn’t consider “every terrible implement of the soldier” to be “the birthright of an American,” and “necessary to the security of a free State.”
See, here’s the thing– I know I can be trusted not to abuse my right to arms, and so can everyone I’m friends with.
So what do we do about those who can’t?
The answer certainly isn’t controlling you and me.
And the genie is out.

I feel their pain.
The only way this will change is if Republicans manage to not blow the elections, and then to start keeping the campaign promises that had no chance of passing when they made them.

Since when is any conflict not made better by adding “Only Ones” into the mix?
It actually sounds like they both deserve each other, but the legal hurdles, penalties, and expenses raise a question as to just how far “the law” could go, depending on the jurisdiction.

It’s an improvement, but before gun owners start cheering over “illegal possession” being a “win” for “law and order,” consider Illinois…
Check out some of the idiots in comments.

What can I say but “Chris Murphy”?
I should go back and retitle this Damned Lie/Truth.
We need go no further. Plaintiffs’ failure to demonstrate a likelihood of success on the merits of their claims sinks their attempt to require the district court to issue a preliminary injunction… We therefore affirm the judgment of the district court, denying the request for a preliminary injunction. Snotty, arrogant, and imperious in their denial of fundamental rights, just like the Founders intended.

“Banning mass casualty weapons is a commonsense measure that will prevent needless loss of life. In 2019, our community felt that loss with the horrific tragedy that took place in the Oregon district. There is no reason to have guns equipped with magazines that can hold 50, 70, or even 100 rounds. It’s time to take action and ban these weapons so that our communities can be safer,” said Rep. Blackshear. [More]
“Weapons”? So, basically every semiautomatic.
Y0u and every ignorant oath-breaking tyrant wannabe like you blaming the rest of us for your constituents is reason enough, moron.

They were “were used in crimes and suicides. He also sold them to felons, a minor, and someone who had such severe mental health issues”…?
And he was let off because of his age and because he has no previous crimes?
And the Demanding Moms aren’t gnashing their teeth and ripping their hair out?
Hey, I’m two years older than him and ditto on the clean conviction record. Five years probation would be worth it to me, especially since I’d be doing it to promote a right…
Or is there some other reason “justice” doesn’t seem to be all that equal, and if so, why isn’t anyone investigating it?

I am still holding out hope that a permitless carry bill of some stripe will pass the North Carolina General Assembly this spring. It will need a spending or fiscal component attached to it. Noting the differences in sheer numbers and the impossibility of containing them, I’d say there’s a meme in there somewhere, but I’m actually more concerned with how China and Russia would be taking advantage of Democrat-initiated hostilities, with no small amount of reliance on another group that outnumbers the military.

Here’s the video of the hearing. Too bad it doesn’t have a transcript to allow homing in on specific “data” lies, and exposing those at the committee level is something funded “gun groups” ought to be putting resources into.

Now look at how the Democrats portray “Christine Drazan, who did more to damage the House Republican Caucus than anyone in recent memory”:
A new report released today exposes Christine Drazan for accepting a $10,000 campaign contribution from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) — an extreme and powerful pro-gun lobby group, where the CEO of “Daniel Defense — which made the gun used in the massacre at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in May” sits on the board of directors.
