Three Thousand Tyrants

With ‘the best friend gun owners have ever had in the White House’ to return, gun-safety groups eye state level actions [More]

Everybody remembers the Benjamin Martin quote, right?

Which is exactly why this needs to be a priority:

Imagine now the Department of Justice under an actual Second Amendment advocate, and what it could do fighting infringements and prohibitionist lawfare waged by states with unlimited tax war chests in tandem with Astroturf prohibitionist groups funded by antigun elites. Right now, the costs to defend against these innumerable assaults on all levels are borne by gun rights groups and members of mostly modest means who can only support a fraction of what is needed. That equation could be turned on its head.

If it’s not, we’ll know our best friend conned us and our “gun rights leaders” never asked him for it.

Know the Enemy

Spetsnaz, Russian Mercenaries, and American Commandoes in Syria [More]

Dr. Miguel Faria give us an excerpt from his book Stalin, Mao, Communism, and the 21st Century Aftermath in Russia and China.

As an aside because this made me think of it, war on home turf is not the romantic stuff of fiction, anonymous keyboard commandos boldly calling for CW2 notwithstanding. I believe the reason we have not seen it here –yet — is because the Second Amendment is working, not just against individual predators, but on a societal level. As Thomas Paine observed:

[A]rms, like law, discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property… Horrid mischief would ensue were one-half the world deprived of the use of them…

Our duty is to keep that horrid mischief from taking over. And rejecting the peaceable means bequeathed to us by the Founders that we yet have and doing nothing but rattling sabers and complaining undermines that.

We’re the Only Ones Tactical Enough

U.S. Forest Service (USFS) special agent Travis Lunders arrived at their ranch without warning, armed and in full tactical gear, to serve the couple separate grand jury indictments. [More]

Let’s make it about Travis.

And let’s keep an eye on who Trump appoints to take over USFS, and which prosecutions are in order.

ATF to Big Brother: Hold Our Beer

Did you know that every time you search for guns or ammo online, someone’s watching? Well you probably already know, but if you think it’s just the algorithms that feed you ads, think again—the ATF is also watching your searches. Worse, they use your digital activity to shape bans and enforcement actions. And no, we’re not fear mongering here. Published reports confirm that your searches are being tracked, analyzed, and even used to forecast so-called “threats.” [Watch]

The question then becomes what do Donald Trump and whomever he appoints to head the Bureau intend to do about this?

And Jess sent me this, but when I looked saw it’s from 2016. Still…

Evidently the frustrated animal’s name is Jason Woods. A verbal warning to him is like a “F*** you” to the citizen he threatened, and his co-thugs standing around not yanking his leash deserve lashes as well.

Raid on Innocent Family Shows ATF Tyranny Must Be a Priority for Trump

This is where citizens could really use some of those pledges of Second Amendment protection we heard along the campaign trail from Donald Trump, and from every Republican in Congress who won their seat because of gun owner support. [More]

The new administration, through orders to subordinates, and the Republican-controlled Congress, with the power to subpoena and investigate, could do much to stop citizen abuse — if they want to.

After Abundant Life shooting, Madison teens call for gun control [More]

Not all of them, not that Cap Times “real reporters” are aware or would let you know if they did…

I wonder how many know who the city of Madison was named after.

“To the Republicans across the country, I say f— your thoughts and prayers,” says Rep. Francesca Hong, daughter of Korean immigrants able to survive, come here, and vote Democrat because armed Americans, many who died, fought the gun-banning communists.

This is Francesca:

DSA, eh? Wanna hear some of their songs?

F— you, too, Francesca.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond (For the Children Edition)

Watchdog will make apps use facial recognition and other age checks to identify children… The largest tech firms will face multi-billion-pound fines under the Online Safety Act if they fail to protect children and instead allow them to access harmful content such as porn, child sex abuse images and violence. So, they’ll have a database of identifiable faces that AI can morph into aging, at least until they don’t need to after such checks become mandatory renewal requirements for all…

But don’t worry. Some child sex content will still be allowed, and they get to decide what’s violent.

Until someone else gets to.

You’ve got to scroll down to find them. The “real reporter” figured we needed to hear Kamala and Joe prove they’re cluelsss how the election went and demand more infringements on everybody first because of Madison.

Question about Sec. 34210: Do you see anything in there prohibiting dealers from putting a stamp on the pamphlet warning customers it’s state-mandated bull$h!+? I guess if they wanna stay open, because the vindictive bastards don’t neeed laws to persecute…

Sign Me Up?

President Trump has a tool to push for the passage of legislation, such as the hearing protection act. The executive branch, specifically the Secretary of the Treasury, can unilaterally declare an amnesty for people to register NFA items with the ATF. [More]

Wouldn’t that imply they’d done something wrong and that citizens should obey tyrannical claims on their rights…?

Yeah, of course I know the alternative.

Some of us have considered that before charting our own course.

I like Dean, he does a lot of valuable stuff and I’m sure he’s doing his best to let us know about something that could keep us out of trouble. I guess I’m just surprised to see this on JPFO.

The Light and the Dark

While Light Shined Brightly in One Nation, Darkness Befell the Other! [More]

Dr. Miguel Faria, a great influence on me throughout the years, has a new book comparing and contrasting the American and French revolutions.

You may recall another book of his I reviewed, America, Guns, and Freedom. If you have’t read it, you’re passing up an opportunity to learn from the best.

I just got my copy of his latest in the mail and will find time to read it. I’ll get started, but with my workload and Christmas/New Years plans, it may be January before I finish, which is fine, because I just got the green light from my editor at Firearms News to submit a review.

20 Questions

…about January 6 [More]

I’d add “How could the government prosecute and sentence Stewart Rhodes to 18 years when he didn’t enter the Capitol and didn’t bring firearms into Washington DC?”

The real reason seems to be putting a hard stop to the notion that LEOs have a right and a duty to disobey unlawful orders.

The Treason Coalition

While the lawsuit was only brought by New Jersey and Minnesota, the “larger coalition that will be working together includes 16 states in total,” the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office said to Newsweek. These states are California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island and Vermont, as well as Washington, D.C. [More]

As long as the Supreme Court lets them get away with infringements, it will only get worse.

Until the Justice Department steps up and defends all civil rights from state denials, the only “legal” defense will be what the gun groups can scrape up from the same overburdened donors. I’m afraid Pam Bondi has established a record of being more the type that defends employer infringements. My guess is Trump is more interested in what she can do to squash bugs like Bragg.

The ‘Horrible Secret’ and Orwell in Spain

Thus, the first priority of the Soviet communists controlling the Spanish government was not fighting Franco’s army but the extermination of anarchists and Trotskyites (mostly internationalist, Jewish socialist revolutionaries). The anarchists were considered enemies because their political philosophy was diametrically opposed to that of the communists, and they refused to give up their weapons. [More]

They’re useful idiots until they’re not.

Dr. Miguel Faria takes us from Stalin ratting out his comrades to a Nazi/commie alliance of convenience and beyond, and shows how everything about murderous collectivists is a subversive assault against humanity.

That’s why they want our guns.
