Servants Freak Out Over Masters Not Needing Their Permission

Pro-gun permitless carry law closer to passage in Louisiana [More]

So naturally, Democrats and the porcine prevaricators at the FOP are resurrecting the old “blood in the streets” hysteria that reality never bears out.

Apples And Oranges

Maine lawmakers call on Cabela’s, Kittery Trading Post to stop selling ‘assault rifles’ [More]

Well, yeah, because “gunman, Robert Card, bought one of his weapons, a handgun, at the Cabela’s in Scarborough.”

Don’t worry– the grabbers’ll come back to their initial goal in due time:

We’re the Fauxnly Ones Waffling Enough

Woman accused of impersonating FBI agent, attempting to close down Waffle House [More]

I liked the bit about the notebook.

As always, be aware of The Fauxnly Ones Files, because the day may come when you’ll need an “I did not believe they were real cops” defense.

Let This Be a Warning to You

The confiscation of Taylor’s possessions, including his computers, phone, credit cards, and of course, his self-manufactured guns, marks the beginning of a legal battle that threatens to land him behind bars for up to 18 years. [More]

You can listen to an interview.

And help.

Take Action Now?

This brazen move toward confiscation of your firearms by the state must not be taken lightly. Act today to let the California Senate know just what you think of this attack on your liberty. [More]

Why? Do you want to give all those anti-gun Democrats in safe seats a good chuckle, or just burn out activist supporters on fruitless missions to nowhere?

It’s awful tough when you refuse to even consider the reason CA turned from Republican to unchallengeably Democrat. If gun groups hadn’t been deliberately indifferent to that for decades with their “single issue” evasion, they might not have to keep hitting up members for lawsuit money to fight edicts passed by Democrat-dominated legislatures that their disinterest ensured.

The Main Reason

“The goal is to make sure that Denver knows that we will not be accepting any busloads of migrants into our community. The main reason is that we don’t have a budget that matches theirs, and we won’t utilize taxpayer funds for the support of what they’ve decided to take on themselves as a self-declared sanctuary city,” Mitch LaKind, the mayor of Monument, Colorado, said Wednesday on “Fox & Friends First.” [More]

Really, Mitch? That’s your main reason?

The Butterfly Effect

Ninth Circuit to rehear Hawaii butterfly knife ban… In its en banc petition, the state only briefly touched on historical arms regulations in its pre-territorial days. However, the state Supreme Court recently harkened back to the Kingdom of Hawaii — which historically levied heavy regulations on weapons — while pushing back on the Second Amendment. [More]

We’re talking Stephen Stamboulieh and Alan Beck’s case,

Judge ReTodd Eddins thinks “the spirit of Aloha” is the supreme law of the land there? I know they had history and tradition– did they have text? And does that spirit mean they’re bringing back Kapu?

Mark W. Smith thinks this may backfire.

Matthew 18:6

Kevin Starrett sent a relevant email in re my AmmoLand piece “Potential Charges Over Child’s Toy Gun in School Zoom Class“:

In Oregon, the legislature has stripped school boards of the right to fire superintendents. Because one fired a far left Marxist.
Now they have a bill to mandate porn in school. School boards will no longer be able to remove porn from school libraries.

Anyone who has a child in public school is committing child abuse. Period.

Unsafe Storage

They were probably out of this guy’s price range anyway.

I hope the gunmakers defending against enemies foreign and domestic take heed and have their lawyers introduce evidence that CPSC hasn’t issued recalls against their products.

Felon Proves ‘Safe Storage’ Laws Don’t Protect Lives

A Michigan man was charged Tuesday under the state’s new law requiring safe storage of guns after his 2-year-old daughter shot herself in the head with his revolver the day after the law took effect. [More]

I’d think a responsible j0urnalist would put the part about him being a prohibted person felon right up in the headline. Of COURSE he doesn’t obey any “gun laws.”

Care to tell us more about him– and why he was out?

And why the photo of the everyman-looking professor instead of the idiot “dad”?

Safe storage practices are done by the responsible. Safe storage laws don’t change that.

Trump Wouldn’t Be So Good at Firing People If He Was Better at Hiring Them

Trump was asked about half a dozen potential running mate choices: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, a Democrat turned independent. [More]

I see two who are problematic right off the bat:

Tim Scott picked Lisa Murkowski over Kelly Tshibaka. That and he’s a lying prior restraint/no real due process gun-grabber.

And Tulsi’s a totalitarian on guns.

All it takes is a missed heartbeat.

We don’t need the crowd going wild. We need adults with his ear telling him that once more, it’s his to blow with gun owners.
