It Beats Actually Doing Something That Works

Democratic Georgia lawmaker sets goals for 2025 intended to reduce children’s gun injuries [More]

What’s the Road to Hell paved with again?

I guess that serves some purposes better then “Moron tries to punish everyone else for his own cConstituency’s bad behaviors.”

Or “Lickspittle media helps politican mask his own incompetence at finding real solutions in order to convince anyone dumb enough to vote for him that he’s got a viable plan”…

Re-Release the Kraken Again Once More!

Anybody keeping track of how many Krakens have been released so far?

This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

Chaos reigned at the grand opening of Six Flags Over Georgia … with mobs of unruly teenagers fighting inside the theme park, escalating to a massive police response and an officer-involved shooting. [More]

Well, I know where I’m not going.

Something tells me “poverty” and “systemic racism” are the least of these kids’ problems.

An Idea Whose Time Has Come

A bill introduced in the Georgia House this week could expand the presence of guns on private property. The bill would make property owners legally liable if a gun owner gets hurt on property where they aren’t allowed to carry a gun. [More]

That could make my cards obsolete:

So… does it have any chance of passing or is this pre-election posturing?

Tax Holiday

To amend Code Section 48-8-3 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to exemptions from sales and use taxes, so as to exempt sales of firearms, ammunition, gun safes, and related accessories during an 11 day period each year; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes. [More]

Keep track of who’s behind it and bill progress here.

A Law Unto Themselves

Those websites above have had their intended effect by spreading this misinformation to the local news media that lap it up and just copy/paste without a single question on whether they have the legal authority to ban weapons on public streets, even if it is roped off or gated and ticketed. Those things are not exceptions in the law, nor should they be, as our right to self-defense on our taxpayer owned property should never be infringed. [More]

They reiterate the ban on the ticketing site.

Via email update, Evans tells me:

They’ve updated their festival’s website to remove any mention of guns or weapons, but it remains on their main website’s calendar page as of this moment, as well as the website of Destination Augusta which is the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau. But at least they half-way did something.

I doubt the media will update their articles to reflect this. Gotta keep the wool pulled over the eyes of the general public.

I’ve updated my article.

From the Party of the Workin’ Man

Launched last year, the Alliance is an $80 million venture by left-wing nonprofits to “systematically influence every aspect of election administration” and advance Democrat-backed voting policies in local election offices. [More]

It figures Democrat weasels are always yapping on about “loopholes”– they’re so good at finding and slithering through them.

Being able to violate the spirit of the law just means the letter of the law was inadequately stated.

Who better to listen to than a white privileged white privilege denouncer who had two abortions at 16?

Here’s one way to cool Chelsea off.

Anybody else ever hear of those other “celebrities”? And why does Skip Coolzip come to mind?

Walker, Texas Changer

Senate candidate Herschel Walker is facing renewed allegations of carpetbagging, ahead of next week’s runoff election in Georgia, for claiming a special property tax break in Texas and making statements about living in the Lone Star State while campaigning to unseat Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga. [More]

Between this, the baby mamas, and the vulnerability to the abortion charges, I’m wondering if the GOP and Trump were just so enamored by celebrity potential and exploitable race that they failed to do any basic vetting at all. Either that or Team Swamp knew and wanted this outcome.

This is ridiculous, and to be just finding out about it now is inexcusable. And pointing out how Democrats do it misses the point. Anyone who doesn’t realize they don’t have to play by the rules is negligently naive, and besides, “our side” is supposed to walk the talk.

Taneaious, We Hardly Knew Ye

Four people, including teenagers, were shot during a home invasion in DeKalb County on Friday, authorities said… The victims were identified as Jacqueze Grier (23), Taneaious McCune (18), and a 15-year-old minor. [More]

But wait, like the old ShamWow “infomercials” used to say, there’s more!

A 17-year-old is dead and two children are wounded after a shooting at a candlelight vigil for a shooting victim in DeKalb County, police said… Police said that the candlelight vigil was being held for 18-year-old Taneaious McCune, who was killed on Friday night near Gresham Park in an attempted home invasion.

Yep, no doubt about it. The problem is the guns.

At least that’s the line Raphael and the Idiot Moms are selling.

Birds of a Feather

Warnock’s former church repeatedly hosted antisemitic, Black supremacist professor – Leonard Jeffries, uncle of Dem. Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, espoused Black nationalist views popularized by Louis Farrakhan [More]

Why does that not surprise me that such in-your-face Marxist bigots are who “progressives” would support?

Or that none of them are concerned about Warnock obstructing a child abuse investigation?

We couldn’t get ’em riled about one of theirs pulling a gun on an unarmed black jogger, either…

It’s almost like they don’t really believe in the sh!+ they espouse but just say it to trick the stupid into voting for them.
