“Some of those answers will come from Republicans, not the extremists that we are dealing with every single day,” Ryan continued, to show how conciliatory he can be. “We’ve got to kill and confront that movement, but working with normal mainstream Republicans, that’s going to be really, really important.” [More]
So if you don’t let radical gun-grabbing Democrats have the final word on who qualifies as a “normal mainstream Republican,” you’re an “extremist.”

Funny, they weren’t so picky about whose tax dollars funded them.

Unlike most of the other reports, I appreciate the links and the recognition in this one. There’s still nothing about it, of course, in the “Lies of Omission” major media.
Not to tease, but there’s still a chance this might not be over that I can’t give details on yet.
Republicans haven’t had much luck, either, but my suspicion is their move was more pre-midterms motivated. You’ll forgive me if I don’t have a lot of confidence in a GOP-controlled House Oversight Committee doing much more than making self-serving noise.
Still, it tells us all we need to know about the Democrats.

Support for Biden recovered from a low of 36% in July to 45%, driven in large part by a rebound in support from Democrats just two months before the November midterm elections. During a few bleak summer months when gasoline prices peaked and lawmakers appeared deadlocked, the Democrats faced the possibility of blowout losses against Republicans. [More]
Psyops to demoralize? Are the Republicans blowing the vaunted “red wave”? A little bit of both?

I see the emails, social media messages and news tips are backed up from Friday night. After doing my Firearms News article promo, I’m just getting re-started here now because I spent the morning writing an AmmoLand piece on the “Republicans” who voted for the “assault weapon” ban I expect will be out before too long.
Oh, and first I had to deal with the aftermath of yesterday’s large family gathering we hosted. Where’d that crater in the backyard come from, and why are there bullet holes in the basement?
Bottom line– I’ll get to what I can. But I sure wouldn’t mind a slowdown on inputs.
Thank you to those of you who take the time out of your busy lives to reach out and guide me to interesting and important stories I might otherwise miss. I appreciate your understanding.
