We’re the Only Ones Eating Our Own Enough

DLE investigators were “dragging” the investigation out “hoping people get more scared, now this poor kid ran out of money. Can everyone see the picture I’m painting, threatened, afraid, no money, going to jail, can’t talk to no one, what’s there to live for, right?,” wrote Rodriguez, who blamed DLE’s top leaders and the head CID investigator for Kagehiro’s death. “Now he is gone.…” [More]

Do “just following orders” Only Ones really believe those giving such orders won’t eat their own when it suits their purposes?

That and ask a “Police should be the only ones armed” type who exploits suicide as justification for citizen disarmamament to address the elephant in the room:

More cops die of suicide than die of shootings and traffic accidents combined.

Clearly a suicide!

They ought to make the ruling pathologist demonstrate.

Texas mother sent text to ex-husband saying, ‘Say goodbye to your son’ before killing boy … A gun was also found at the crime scene, which Salazar said Kriger legally bought from a friend who had purchased the firearm from a sporting goods store. “It was a legal gun,” according to the sheriff. “It was hers.” [More]

Curious, who the state trusts to be armed…

Now look at how the Democrats portray “Christine Drazan, who did more to damage the House Republican Caucus than anyone in recent memory”:

A new report released today exposes Christine Drazan for accepting a $10,000 campaign contribution from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) — an extreme and powerful pro-gun lobby group, where the CEO of “Daniel Defense — which made the gun used in the massacre at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, in May” sits on the board of directors.

How desperate and stupid would you have to be to believe that compromising with totalitarians will earn you any more gratitude and respect from them than they would give to a toilet?

Authorities said the gun was not registered to Rakesh and that he was not licensed to possess it. State Police are working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to investigate where the gun originated. [More]

Noting he was an Indian immigrant, I’m more interested if he was a Democrat in favor of politicial lampreys imposing MA gun edicts…

As WarOnGuns Correspondent Edmund M observes:

Massachusetts requires that all firearm transfers (among individuals and from a FFL) be reported to the Division of Public Safety (State Police). A License to Carry Firearms is required to possess a pistol within your residence. An unregistered firearm possessed by an unlicensed individual is a double whammy of ungoodness in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A former head of Harvard Business School Online managed to figure out how to acquire a firearm outside the system of bureaucratic hurdles, something that requires no formal education to accomplish.

The story is paywalled but we get enough from that to get the drift.

Questions I’d like to see answered include should anyone do this without counsel, whether doing this could be used against them later, what liability the gun store would face for returning firearms, who would have to authorize that, what’s the criteria for their decision either way, and if an equivalent of a Miranda warning ought to be required…

And none of that addresses the core truth.
