Yeah, that pretty much mirrors my sentiments, and you can throw Kash in there as well.

Granddaughter has church preschool Christmas pageant this morning and I wouldn’t miss it for the world. That and I have articles to start, finish, and publicize. Oh, and the modem and router went haywire on me last night so I didn’t get needed work done. And as if THAT weren’t enough…

FEDERAL COURT RULES THAT ILLEGALS DON’T HAVE 2A RIGHTS [Watch]
That argument is a distraction from the real issue.
Why is a known illegal alien allowed to remain in the United States instead of being deported?

Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett co-rented a car in 2006 with a previously convicted robber whose car crash caused her to be sued for damages at the start of her law career, records obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show. [More]
It’s a real insight into the content of her character that Budget had to sue her and she played the entitlement card by saying the contract was invalid. Especially when she’s doing it again by stiffing her condo association for owed dues.
Ditto for Soweto. No wonder Jasmine wants us to be disarmed:

I’d say she did us a favor by running for Senate where she’ll be creamed, but anyone hateful, envious, and stupid enough to vote for her in the first place will happily elect another scammer, and they’ll be happy to take her back if she decides to reconsider.
The Democrat machine is already sending strong signals that she needs to.

In fairness, Chief Michael Soelberg only makes $261,098, and other snouts suck up more from the trough than that, so I guess you get what you pay for.

You cannot meaningfully reduce the number of guns in the United States without building a system capable of finding them, compelling disclosure, and forcibly removing them when people decline to cooperate. [More]
We believe gun-control advocates – or their leadership anyway – consider the deeply totalitarian implications she draws out to be not a bug but a feature. We think they want to shape the kind of society in which the kind of total. smothering force she describes can be exerted, much more than they want to “reduce gun violence” or any of the other goals they talk about.
It’s not about guns. It’s about freedom.
And having history to show us what totalitarians are capable of, it’s existential.

And why have Mustapha’s pages been disappeared?
Understanding from Brown’s non-denial denial that he could be a “victim of coicumstance” with nothing to do with any of this, there sure are a lot of curiosities.

Looks like we need more “commonsense gun safety laws.”
Good grief.

Legally armed civilians, we’re told, pose a major danger. They shoot innocent bystanders, justifiably kill others whenever they personally believe “force is reasonably necessary,” and rely on racist self-defense laws. [More]
One question: Why do they refer to violence monopoly propaganda apparatchik Mark Maremont as a “reporter”?
And as per the playbook of resurrecting old scare tactics that didn’t work the first time, such bleating isn’t even original.

I want to know why my A-rated Republican Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost did not join in with the other state AGs, and why my two A-rated Republican Senators, John Husted and Bernie Moreno, didn’t join in with Ted Cruz and all those other senators. I think I’ll ask them.
Also, in the briefs I’ve seen so far, there’s one case that’s not cited, and not being a lawyer that seems more than curious to me as it has direct bearing because it was decided by the Supreme Court.
In the infamous Dred Scott decision, SCOTUS made one admission that showed what the court’s thinking was on this exact issue when it rationalized:
“It would give to persons of the negro race, who were recognised as citizens in any one State of the Union, the right to enter every other State whenever they pleased, singly or in companies, without pass or passport, and without obstruction, to sojourn there as long as they pleased, to go where they pleased at every hour of the day or night without molestation, unless they committed some violation of law for which a white man would be punished; and it would give them the full liberty of speech in public and in private upon all subjects upon which its own citizens might speak; to hold public meetings upon political affairs, AND TO KEEP AND CARRY ARMS WHEREVER THEY WENT. [Emphasis added]
Educate a poor non-mouthpiece layman here who holds the simple notion that “shall not be infringed” means what it says and is jaded enough to believe the gun-grabbers understand that, too. Why isn’t anyone bringing up a part of Scott v Sandford that would survive where the rest of the decision would fall?
