Association Bylaws, Article III, Sec. 11, “Involuntary Termination of Membership and Disciplinary Proceedings” states in part:

“Any individual or organization member may be suspended or expelled for good cause, including, but not limited to, any conduct which is contrary to, or in violation of the Bylaws of the Association.”

Public anti-gun advocacy is in direct conflict with Article II, Purposes and Objectives, section 1:

“To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, especially with reference to the inalienable right of the individual American citizen guaranteed by such Constitution to acquire, possess, collect, exhibit, transport, carry, transfer ownership of, and enjoy the right to use arms, in order that the people may always be in a position to exercise their legitimate individual rights of self-preservation and defense of family, person, and property, as well as to serve effectively in the appropriate militia for the common defense of the Republic and the individual liberty of its citizens;”

Additionally, Article III, “Membership,” section 1., “Eligibility,” requires that the member “subscribes to the objectives and purposes of the Association.”

Those websites above have had their intended effect by spreading this misinformation to the local news media that lap it up and just copy/paste without a single question on whether they have the legal authority to ban weapons on public streets, even if it is roped off or gated and ticketed. Those things are not exceptions in the law, nor should they be, as our right to self-defense on our taxpayer owned property should never be infringed. [More]

They’ve updated their festival’s website to remove any mention of guns or weapons, but it remains on their main website’s calendar page as of this moment, as well as the website of Destination Augusta which is the Augusta Convention and Visitors Bureau. But at least they half-way did something.

I doubt the media will update their articles to reflect this. Gotta keep the wool pulled over the eyes of the general public.

Earlier this year I was at Academy Sports with a friend who was purchasing a pistol. The employee made him redo the form because he couldn’t read his signature. The employee said that the ATF had recently audited them and complained about not being able to read the signatures and said that they must be legible.

So when you see before the United States Supreme Court in the United States v Rahimi case, statements that say we have no right to keep in bear arms, we have no right to possess firearms, we have no right to carry firearms, we have no right to use firearms to protect ourselves, you must take these words at face value. You must take them as truth that this is what the other side truly believes. We don’t have a right to self-defense we don’t have a right to guns. We have to be disarmed. Take them at their word.
