Not His to Trade

It would be good for ‘a massive cultural shift’ toward European gun control: New York Times columnist – David Brooks said he would be willing to give up privacy for safety. [More]

He can give up whatever he wants. But what he’s saying is the rest of us have to do it too.

Mr. Franklin warned us. (And there’s also the William Penn version.)

And as for European “gun control”…

What a contemptible idiot. What a coward.

We’re the Only Ones Not Adding Up Enough

233 firearms collected in Summit County gun buyback event [More]

So if “233 firearms were collected at the event and $34,325 in gift cards were given out,” even given the maximum payout of $100 per working gun (which assumes no non-working guns paid out at $25 each were collected), that opens the question of whose pockets the other (at least) $11,025 in gift cards ended up in…

The “authorized journalist” who wrote this up probably didn’t want to press the issue because math is racist.

Tangentially-related UPDATE

I wanted to check out the Summit County Sheriff’s social media to see if they were bragging about this so I could ask them about their addition, and the cover of their magazine was the top post:

Every supermarket I go to around here warns against putting children in the car basket, and indeed, the Consumer Product Safety Commission warns in an alert:

Every year, thousands of children are treated in U.S. hospital emergency rooms for falls from shopping carts. Falls from shopping carts are among the leading causes of head injuries to young children and most often occur when children stand up in the child seat or the cart basket.

So it figures the same “Only Ones” encouraging people who may not know the first thing about guns (or how to clear them) to handle and transport them are happily displaying how oblivious they are to basic child safety in general on the cover of their quarterly bulletin.

Then again, consider where the buck stops and the party that she represents.

Buyer’s Remorse

Ex-Navy SEAL who transitioned from male to female says he’s now transitioning BACK: Blasts VA for giving him hormones after an hour-long consultation, and calls sex change ‘the worst mistake of my life’ [More]

The point being, if an adult with this amount of life experience can be this confused, what can we conclude about the motives of those who would destroy anyone questioning doing this to minors?

Especially since they’re the same ones demanding to raise the age of gun owners to 21 under the excuse that their emotional maturity has not fully developed.

And the same ones who then turn around and say we need to lower the voting age?

Who is stupid enough to believe it’s because Democrats are more enlightened than “deplorables”?

Schiff Happens

By publicly pressuring Musk to censor “hate speech,” which is indisputably covered by the First Amendment, Schiff and Takano are trying to indirectly accomplish something that the Constitution forbids. [More]

Well, it also says “shall not be infringed, but that’s never stopped either of these @$$holes.

Nothing Short of the End of Civilization as We Know It

California Apple store ransacked by thieves as staff warn customers not to stop them [More]

And they push “men” out of their way, that is, assault them with confident impunity.

This would not happen in a Militia culture. Or in any culture where men deny their biological roles as defenders of what is theirs– you know, what the enemies who want to tear it all down have swindled the weak-minded into considering toxic and synonymous with being abusive.

Those who “tolerate” such ravaging beasts in their midst have chosen their place in the food chain. And that includes those who vote for rulers who demand it of them.

No civilized culture can survive this. Cancer cannot be reasoned or bargained with. Either the patient is cured of it or it takes over and wastes the body to death.

Trust Me, He Knows

Who Wants to Tell California AG Bonta that Access to ‘Weapons of War’ as a Check Against Tyranny is a Core Tenet of the Second Amendment? [More]

Why do you think he and his masters are so bent on destroying it?

I just wish more 2A lawsuits would focus more on the Militia, and how ignoring that facilitates more infringements.

Reports on Secret Service Response in Hunter Biden Gun Investigation Omit Key Point

Once more, the story missing from other reports that no one else is yet talking about: If the Secret Service has “100 records totaling over 400 pages,” why did they tell me — and by extension, the court — under penalty of perjury that they had none? [More]

How do you get away with lying on an affidavit? We may be about to find out. And the media won’t care.

Gunkapo

As a firearm dealer, I support background checks for gun purchasers [More]

This voluntary concession to the grabbers was from June. I just found out about it from an email from the Astroturf frauds at 97percent.

If you’re an Illinois gun owner and you do business with Benjamin Tactical in Libertyville, you’re giving aid and comfort to a useful idiot for the enemy.

I guess somebody had to step up and fill Mike “The Gun Guy” Weisser’s shoes…

Just Like the Ayatollahs Used to Impose

Phoenix city councilwoman Yassamin Ansari is pushing for change. She is against a state law that requires cities to resell confiscated or forfeited guns. “That in a time of trying to reduce gun violence, in the City of Phoenix, we should not be in the business of selling weapons.” said Ansari. [More]

Yeah, we need more “commonsense gun safety laws” like the kind her parents enjoyed in their native Iran before this country took them in!

A Series of Unfortunate Events

If you are experiencing the symptoms of whiplash, you are not alone. The saga of Measure 114 is moving so fast and taking so many unexpected turns that keeping up is nearly impossible, and, in fact, most in the media have not been able to. [More]

Which is why those following the story need to make Oregon Firearms Federation Alerts a regular stop.

If at First You Don’t Succeed…

GUN VIOLENCE: A pair of gun proposals are back after failing last session. One would impose an excise tax on firearm and ammunition sales; another would modify California’s concealed carry permitting system in response to a Supreme Court ruling upending restrictive state laws. Bills containing those respective proposals stalled last year for want of two-thirds votes. [More]

Just Like the Founders Intended

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the Department of Justice have sent the rule surrounding pistol stabilizing devices to the White House for Presidential review. [More]

Since we’re told we live under a system of consent of the governed, I’m sure the delegated authority for this is in here somewhere
