Senate Bill 1015 “Requires the Department of Justice to develop and implement a grant program to award moneys to eligible entities to reduce community violence in communities experiencing disproportionately high rates of community violence.” [More]
What could be more fair than non-violent and productive people picking up the tab — or else..?
Judge greenlights DOJ’s motion to drop gun case against Salvadoran, accused MS-13 leader [More]
Deportation sounds like a better solution all the way around.
That oughta p!$$ off the Democrats.
Multiple French prisons have been attacked in recent nights, including with automatic weapons, in what the justice minister said on Tuesday was a response to a government clamp-down on a drug trade turbocharged by a surge in cocaine trafficking. Military-grade weapons were fired at entrance to Toulon prison, in southern France… [More]
The original inspiration was by violent lowlife scum, too.
With inmates like Mohamed Amra, I wonder how many of the attackers this time were named “Jaques,” or “Pierre”…
Hey, so much for French “gun control“!

A Butler, Pennsylvania man was charged with making threats of murder and assault against President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, among others. [More]
Butler? Is there something in the water there..?
I’d say tell Donie, but that pudgy Irish f_k knows exactly what he’s doing.
Say, shouldn’t all those gushing “gunfluencers” be celebrating our diversity?

St. Louis man arrested after impersonating officer, trespassing woman’s apartment [More]
As always, be aware that this is a pervasive phenomenon. You never know when you might need an “I did not believe he was a real cop” defense, so it won’t hurt to have plenty of examples of real threats to point to.

KC homeowner shoots male suspected of breaking into 30 cars Wednesday…The shooter was released after questioning. It’s unclear at this point if he could face any charges. [More]
I’d say if they call him back in it ought to be for a public ceremony where they give him a medal, but the cynic in me wonders if — based on who was shot — all defenders and reactions of neighbors would be treated the same.

Civilians with permits stopped the attacks more frequently and faced a lower risk of being killed or injured than police. [More]
My guess would be the relevance of mentioning permits is that statistically, there may be more armed citizens with them in the types of areas where “active shootings” are more prevalent, especially since almost half the states don’t “allow” permitless carry. True, there’s no doubt an effect from the extra required training steps an average permit holder undergoes over permitless carriers, but I don’t think the data exists to quantify a difference. Many hardcore 2A activists who are practiced simply don’t believe in permits.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) has declared a state of emergency for Albuquerque, ordering the National Guard to help combat crime in the state’s largest city. [More]
Wasn’t an “emergency” the same pretext she used to mandate widespread citizen defenselessness?
I wonder if chalking voting for Democrats up exclusively to ignorance, prejudice, and stupidity is enough. I’m thinking there’s a mass of their constituents that are parasites and criminal breeders who see the advantages such “government” confers on their self-interests.

Former Walker County Sheriff’s lieutenant pleads guilty to theft… Bradley admitted to pocketing funds between 2018 and 2022 and must repay over $70,000 to Walker County.[More]
What, no charges against a criminally negligent/malfeasant sheriff whose incompetence and/or deliberate indifference let her get away with it for years…?
Care to add your congratulations…? 2018…? Looks like she didn’t waste any time figuring out the vulnerabilities and getting started…

I don’t suppose standardized sign-off procedures and audits have been put in place, not just in Walker County but throughout the state…?
Officers opened fire within about 12 seconds of getting out of their patrol cars and made no apparent effort to de-escalate the situation. “Everybody was trying to tell the police, no, no,” Vazquez said. “Those four officers didn’t care. They didn’t ask what was happening, what was the situation.”“How’s he going to jump the fence when he can barely walk?” she said. [More]
Who called 911? A neighbor wouldn’t know of his condition?
Shot nine times. Good job with that “vision” there, chief.
Especially we know your guys have used less than lethal options before in more threatening situations?
Visionary “gun violence” sculpture, there, Pocatello!
