If ‘Ifs’ and ‘Buts’ were Candy and Nuts

If the FBI won’t submit to the legislative branch’s oversight, Congress can take away its guns and its jurisdiction. [More]

I’m sorry, I know we’re being provided with unique information with past precedent that’s been dug out for us, and I agree with the sentiment, but my first thought on reading this was “If wishes were fishes we’d all cast nets.”

There’s no way totalitarian Democrats relying on an apparatchik spy and intimidation network and dolt “law and order” Republicans would ever consider such a thing.

And it’s not like the “Only Ones” have exactly established a track record of justice and trust.

Lousy at Camouflage

“Michael Patrick Leahy … if it were not illegal to beat your ass up … I’d have done it months ago. I have called your show twice because you decided to pound home the transgender Audrey Hale while people who suffered were healing. You dirty potato eating Mick. If I see you on the street … I’m going to end your conservative slant eye a– … I’m willing to go to prison to end you. You dirty drug addict eyed Irish fool. You either end your talk show or I’ll end your life in real time while you do it. You have no right to the manifesto of Audrey Hale and you just want content by obtaining it … Send the authorities. You’d better if you still want to live, Leahy.” [More]

How do they just let this lunatic out on minimal bail with no forced psychiatric hold and assessment?

You’d think at least he’d make it harder to find him in meatspace, and no, I’m not going to link to that.

Doing It Right for Less?

Lowe’s rehires woman who was assaulted, suffered black eye while trying to stop alleged shoplifters [More]

Looks like customer outrage trumped cowardly corporate weasels — this time…

The thing about this — and I know these things because I used to manage all policies and procedures in defense contracting and medical practice management industries — is it establishes a precedent, and if they fire any other employee under similar circumstances and don’t offer the job back they’re setting themselves up for a discrimination lawsuit.

Getting Away with That in a Small Town

Lowe’s Fires Employee, 68, Who was Assaulted as She Tried to Stop Shoplifters – Lowe’s said grabbing the cart violated the company’s policy. That’s why the store fired her. [More]

So no “feminist” groups have anything to say to brave and entitled Takyah, Joseph, and Jarmar…? Could it be they have an unstated higher-priority agenda?

And Lowes corporate risk weasels would rather these mutts be free to endanger and raise prices for paying customers?

Her being 68 says she was raised in a time that didn’t tolerate that sh!+. I guess these days, you can try that in a small town.

Let’s All Go to the Lobby

Shocking moment 63-year-old man is brutally attacked inside Florida movie theater after asking couple to move out of his pre-booked VIP seat [More]

What does it say about the state of things when all you have to do is read the headline to know that structural sophism and the resultant ubiquitous sociopathic sense of entitlement were involved?

FAFO

Police said over ten days, they received similar reports of robberies in the Fan, Byrd Park, and Carytown areas with what appeared to be the same suspects. [More]

You know what would stop that real quick?

Let “progressives” break things down badly enough and look for some to get fed up. It’s either that or this, which I’d argue is more effective and humane.

By the way, I was at Bannack last week– it’s a ghost town/state park now, but the gallows are still there. I took this from near the cemetery at the top of a large hill overlooking the site:
