Nothing to See Here?

I am an immigrant and a Second Amendment advocate myself…[More]

That’s why I exclude anecdotes and isolated examples from my challenge and focus on the overall effect. Of course, there are some random 2A supporters, and great ones at that. They are a drop in the bucket compared to the majority.

Most immigrants, unless they’re naturalized citizens, cannot vote.

And that’s why the Democrats are pushing through a superhighway to citizenship. And don’t forget their “anchor babies.”

The core of my prescription for preserving and protecting the Second Amendment is outreach to groups that have historically not been associated with gun ownership…

Yeah? Using what media? Do you think the DSM and billionaire-funded grabber groups are just going to let that happen or will they just pour more resources into suppression, cancellations, and counterpropaganda? If you’re going to offer this as the answer, define the scope of the effort needed to overcome all that, and then show where those resources are supposed to come from. Go on, do it.

The gist of what I wrote in my book is that immigration, along with other factors, is a threat only if you let it be a threat.

That’s why ignoring this and falling for the “single issue” excuse will prove catastrophic.

Michael Bloomberg and cheap labor Republican stooges love seeing such excuse-making promoted among gun owners, and I see you need to be a “VIP” to even see comments, let alone respond.

Meet the Candidates!

Sturtevant? The guy with the political courage and devotion to principle to conclude that being endorsed by as tepid a group as NRA was just too much for him to be associated with, so he colluded with them to have it taken down? Yeah, that’s a representative I want fighting the fight for me!

As for all of them, I wonder if anyone will ask them some unequivocal questions and not let them weasel out of things:

  • What did the Founders mean by “A well regulated militia”?
  • What did the Founder mean by “being necessary to the security of a free State”?
  • What did the Founders mean by “the right of the people to keep and bear arms”?
  • What did the Founders mean by “shall not be infringed”?
  • How can past Supreme Court opinion specifying protected arms as those being “in common use at the time” not apply to the types of firearms needed for militia service?

I’d also add a tangentially-related question, one not directly part of the “single issue,” but one that nonetheless is being used to undermine it:

  • What Constitutional basis is there to “secure the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” by exercising protective measures over who may enter the country and who may become a citizen?

UPDATE

Here are the questions VCDL asks different-level candidates.

Low-Hanging Chutes

FBI arrests ‘sedition panda’ in Capitol riot case [More]

I’m just thinking if I ever decide to wear a mask and get physical with cops, number one, I’m not going to be wearing anything that blocks my senses and encumbers my movements, and number two, I’m not going to be taking the mask off in front of a multitude of witnesses and a presumed profusion of cameras.

My Kind of Town

EXCLUSIVE: Chicago inmates claim jail guards are pressuring them to illegally vote in the mayoral election- Inmates claimed guards at Cook County Jail were pushing them to illegally vote- Guards are allegedly getting orders from higher up and ‘doing what they’re told’- It sparked fears of ballot harvesting because jail was an ‘ideal environment’ for it- And raised fears it may propel Lori Lightfoot back in office, despite poor polling [More]

So where’s the “news” part of this story…?

But if you question elections with Republicans standing a chance, you’re a conspiracy nut.

Forget it, Jake. It’s Chi-Town.

From the Party of the Workin’ Man

Launched last year, the Alliance is an $80 million venture by left-wing nonprofits to “systematically influence every aspect of election administration” and advance Democrat-backed voting policies in local election offices. [More]

It figures Democrat weasels are always yapping on about “loopholes”– they’re so good at finding and slithering through them.

Being able to violate the spirit of the law just means the letter of the law was inadequately stated.

Adventures in Baselessness

On Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will consider for a second time whether to hear Raland J. Brunson v. Alma S. Adams, a case that alleges Congress had a duty to investigate claims of fraud and impropriety in the 2020 national election, and that member votes against doing so amounted to treason. [More]

And all they have to do to let things stand is…nothing.

Vote of No Confidence

Rep. Jim Jordan criticized online after saying ‘only Americans should vote in American elections’ [More]

Every Democrat opposing this is a traitor.

I’d go a step further and say no one should be allowed to become an American — or to even come here — unless doing so helps fulfill the government’s obligation “to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.”

And it’s almost funny, Eleanor Holmes Norton, one, saying DC is capable of governing itself, and two, calling this “paternalistic.” She’s the control freak who asserted:

“Women are virgins when it comes to guns. It should stay that way.”

And as far as Congress “Keep[ing their] hands off DC,” there’s this matter of the Constitution Holmes and her fellow Marxist trough-feeders continually spit on, delegating to Congress the power to:

To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;

The Trouble with Harry

“Harry Styles” + gun [More]

This …person.

Don’t worry. He’s made sure everybody knows his body’s guarded.

So a Brit donated $1M to Everytown so they could support or oppose candidates to impose citizen disarmament edicts that were resisted at Lexington and Concord.

And a word from Harry is a free publicity appeal to the mindless.

Funny, how the doctrinaire Marxists say we should eat the rich.

Their intent, of course, is to replace the rich.

Adventures in Baselessness

Media pillar admits ‘potential vulnerabilities,’ ‘security challenges’ in electronic pollbooks – But Associated Press frets about possible exploitation of issues by purveyors of “election conspiracies” and continues to advocate use of the devices. [More]

So if it’s corrupt they don’t want anybody acting on it?

An Age Old Question

The Second Amendment Foundation and its partners in a federal case challenging the federal prohibition on handgun sales to young adults ages 18-20, has filed a reply brief supporting their motion for summary judgment in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. [More]

And the same Democrats who say they want them unarmed because they’re too immature are counting on 16-year-olds to vote for them.
