Point/Counterpoint

And here come the narrative media denials

I’d say this has risen to the court/election interference level where it warrants a Justice Department subpoena and investigation to see who’s playing whom…

Who would be against it?

A Nation of Snitches

A similar network still exists in present day Cuba and is known as the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution, with chapters on each block, charged with turning in their neighbors for such heinous crimes as buying rice and beans on the black market or selling a used washing machine without a government permit. How far away are we from this system in this country? [More]

Another Big Weasel Moment

The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a raid on the headquarters of Baltimore’s “Safe Streets” program on Thursday reportedly on allegations that the taxpayer-funded community program is somehow mixed up with the very gang members they are supposed to be keeping in check. The raid sent local Democrats in the city running for cover after so much of the city’s tax money has been plunged into the program that was initially meant to help quell street violence but has become an albatross for many over its lack of transparency and accountability. This seems to be a thing

Then again, criminals in charge are what the people in “our democracy” want.

The more corrupt and incompetent people are at self-government, the more they demand to govern you.

We’re the Only Ones Conspiring Enough

North Carolina and North Dakota Police Chiefs and Federal Firearms Licensees Indicted for Conspiracy to Illegally Acquire Machineguns and Other Firearms. [More]

Amidst all the outrage over Larry Vickers, let’s not forget we all have the right to such firearms the chiefs claimed for themselves but would arrest us for. I also find it difficult to comprehend how an FFL and recognized expert, versed in all the traps and pitfalls, could stumble into such a huge one himself.

A Feature Not a Bug?

The FBI says it can’t conduct gun permit background checks for Measure 114, even if the law survives legal challenges. [More]

I’d love to chalk this up to incompetence like what happened in Nevada with Question 1, but is it so difficult to believe this was an intended outcome designed to halt gun sales?

Meanwhile, Oregon Firearms Federation gives a case update along with a wider range of observations.

No Noose is Good Noose?

The FBI is investigating what appears to be a noose hanging from a tree at a home in St. Charles County. [More]

Under what legitimate authority?

The guy says his kids swing on it. That seems stupid and dangerous (and possibly actionable), but even if they don’t and he means it to be what it looks like, how is having it on private property against any constitutionally valid law?

On the other hand, it seems like a great incendiary way to invite random arsonists, vandals, and attackers, which I guess brings us back full circle to the FBI.

One Man’s Terrorist is Another Man’s Paladin

This article will outline definitive ways to distinguish between LARP and criminal or malicious activity, which may be helpful to both law enforcement and prosecutors if suspects of targeted violence claim they were playacting. [More]

Oh. Based on the title I thought they were ramping up to start shooting Furries.

So What’s the Problem?

IMPACTS OF HOUSE REPUBLICANS’ EXTREME CR…Nearly 70 fewer Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents, who are often some of the first federal law enforcement on the scene of a mass shooting to help local law enforcement identify at-large shooters—and 13 furlough days for ATF’s entire workforce [More]

Cutting 800 Border agents sounds bad, but they don’t let them guard the border anyway. A lot of the other stuff is Marxist wealth redistribution…

Watch them use the reduction in FBI personnel to try to delay NICS approvals and then work around the 3-day background check timeout to retroactively go after transfers…

We’re the Only Ones Educating Enough

The obvious question is why the Federal Bureau of Investigation would be hiring teachers. I have the answer from the inside. They plan to embed these teachers in school systems nationwide to report on teachers, administrations, and school boards suspected of “domestic terrorism”, which is to say, going against the woke agenda that USGOV supports. [More]

Well, they are hiring.

I’d say looking into “Why?” aside from the cover story that “they bring organization and communication skills to the table” is a legitimate concern.

A Double-Oxymoron

The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it too. [More]

There’s a discussion going on at AR15.com.

They’re taking a beating on Twit…uh…X.

The company says there was an exculpatory warrant that explains its action.

That doesn’t explain why there was a “back door,” and why that’s a surprise to so many.

Adventures in Baselessness

Michigan authorities suspected there was a possible voter registration fraud scheme occurring across multiple states during the 2020 election and were concerned enough to bring in the FBI, according to police memos reviewed by Just the News. But what happened since remains mostly a mystery. [More]

It’s no mystery to some.

We’re the Only Ones Clear Enough

State Senator: FBI Did Not Inform Local Authorities Before Killing Henderson, Tennessee Man in Raid [More]

This should clear up why they didn’t want uncontrolled LE on the scene:

It remains unclear why Deschler, reportedly a 100 percent disabled veteran, was shot and killed on the scene. It also remains unclear why the FBI raided Deschler’s home in the first place.

Are we clear?
