The Spirit of Aloha

Another victory for Alan Beck.

Chucks and Balances

Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer said he will strike back with legislation after a court in Texas said it won’t agree to his demand to change how it assigns cases — a seemingly technical issue, but with significant implications for how some major cases are decided. [More]

In other words, so much for separation of power. The repulsive tyrant-in-waiting knows he’s out of bounds so he intends to lay claim to new power. If Republicans are dumb enough to let him.

Ludicrous BART Campaign Increases Dangers to Passengers with Cards Against Attackers

Amidst this backdrop, we’re supposed to believe passing cards to third parties won’t do more than aggravate an already insane situation? [More]

Being terrorized on the train by a cleaver-wielding maniac released by the system? No problem, just hand a “You Got Me?” card to a total stranger! And remember to keep voting Democrat to “feel” safe!

Survey SAYS…

But more than a third of the elite 1% he surveyed would condone cheating. And among those who are “politically obsessed” – meaning that they talk about politics every day – that number shot up to 69%… Keep in mind that this elite 1% group is overwhelmingly liberal. According to Rasmussen, these are mainly well-educated urbanites who make more than $150,000 a year and think Joe Biden is doing a great job. Nearly three-quarters identify as Democrats. [More]

What a way to choose to live the one life endowed by our Creator, as a rabbit, terrified that if you speak the truths you know in your heart you will be vilified, humiliated, and cast out.

Maybe there’s a reason why so many young people in need of validation are irreparably alienated and turn to destructive and vengeful pursuits.

Et Tu, NSSF?

One of those illegally-trafficked firearms was used to murder U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. That was exposed when ATF Agent Peter Forcelli blew the whistle that cases he was making to charge and lock up criminals for trafficking guns were being ignored by the U.S. Attorney’s office. [More]

No, that’s not how it got exposed.

Forcelli was definitely instrumental and heroic in exposing things, but ignoring the timeline of bringing information to the media, to the Congress, and to the public is wrong. If I didn’t know better, I’d think NSSF had a reason for ignoring that.
