Adventures in Baselessness

EVERY Battleground State in 2020 Announced They Were Going to Quit Counting on Election Night After Trump Was Roaring to Victory – Then Lied and Kept Counting… What Was Bill Barr’s Role in This? [More]

So is anybody going to do anything with this? And why isn’t every prominent Republican screaming at the top of his lungs and demanding attention the media can’t ignore?

Insult to Injury

“For the city to not only fail to protect…small businesses but on top of that give us an invoice for doing the work that they did seems fully irrational… It’s literally the definition of kicking someone when they’re down,” he said. [More]

Would it be out of line to ask him how he votes?

We’re the Only Ones Cooling Enough

As Duprey made his escape, Duran grabbed someone’s cooler off a nearby table and threw it at the fleeing suspect, hitting him in the head and throwing him off balance, James’ office said in a statement. Duprey sideswiped a tree before he was hurled from the scooter and banged his head on the curb, ultimately landing under a parked vehicle, the attorney general said. [More]

Let the Indictments Begin

Subpoena his @$$ and get him to give up the conspirators.

And make sure to hold him in anj Epstein-proof cell.

You Can Tell It’s Vattel, It’s Swell!

As long as we’re quoting Vattel:

It is an accepted maxim of international law that every sovereign nation has the power, as inherent in sovereignty and essential to self-preservation, to forbid the entrance of foreigners within its dominions or to admit them only in such cases and upon such conditions as it may see fit to prescribe. Vattel, lib. 2, §§ 94, 100; 1 Phillimore (3d ed.) c. 10, § 220.

Right, Alan…?

CO Democrats Expanding Predator Empowerment Zones

Draft bill puts numerous places off limits to concealed carry; Democrats test limits of ‘sensitive spaces’ [More]

Proponents know only the “law-abiding” will obey, which makes them evil accomplices to every act of violence that will occur that could have been repelled.

The Gun Control Blitz Has Begun

HB27, the red-flag law expansion, and HB114, the bill to make it easy to sue firearm industry members in New Mexico…HB127, the under-21 gun ban, HB129, the house version of a 14 business day waiting period, and HB137, the semiautomatic rifle ban… SB5, the polling place gun ban… SB69, the senate version of a 14 business day waiting period bill… HB81, the gun safe tax credit bill…SJR12 … constitutional amendment would remove the preemption clause in the state constitution… [More]

If citizen disarmament is, as admitted, “passed on party-line votes,” I need someone to explain to me what good it does to contact Democrats, particularly those in “safe” seats…

Regardless, help is going to be needed to fight these in court. New Mexico gun owners: Don’t do nothing.

The Neutral Zone

“Now she’s got to sharpen her message… she’s got a month to make her case,” noted Reed, who is once again neutral in the GOP nomination after helping to steer a super PAC that was supporting former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s unsuccessful 2024 campaign. [More]

Right. A “Never Trumper” Vichycon Christie supporter is “neutral.”

I also see Faux News’ Paul Steinhauser made a point of throwing sand on frontrunner momentum and emphasizing “Iowa’s low-turnout Republican presidential caucuses” and “the former president’s nearly twelve point margin over Haley was below what most of the final public opinion surveys conducted ahead of the primary had suggested.”

With “real reporter” layoffs becoming a thing, I guess he’s trying to stay competitive with AI…

ATF/FBI ‘Lovers Spat’ Catch-22 on NFA Appeals Resolved

It should be a straightforward enough process and you’d think the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Justice would be on the same page, instead of pointing fingers, abdicating responsibilities, and just plain getting things wrong, especially considering how they increasingly hold Federal Firearms Licensees to “zero tolerance standards” over paperwork glitches. [More]

It took fear of getting spanked by the court, but they finally, grudgingly agreed to an appeals process.

Pot Shots

The Second Amendment Foundation and a District Attorney in Pennsylvania have filed a federal lawsuit against Attorney General Merrick Garland, the heads of the FBI and ATF, and the U.S. Government, challenging the federal prohibition on gun ownership by medical marijuana users. [More]

There’s a Eugene Stoner joke in here somewhere…

Until such time as the smoke clears, I trust no one is making purchases with a credit card…?
