According to DPD, the firearms were wrapped with graphics advertising “We Buy Guns” and have not been recovered. The thief only had to break a window to get into the truck and grab the guns. [More]
Am I wrong to wonder if we’ve heard the last of what really went down here, and that it involved more than industrial-grade stupidity?

The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected a request to block state and local laws barring the sale of assault-style weapons in Illinois while a group of challenges to those laws continues in the lower courts. There were no dissents publicly recorded from the unsigned order, nor did the justices provide any explanation for their decision. [More]
I’m going to resist reading more into this for now.

Nevada Gov. Lombardo strikes down 3 gun control bills in first vetoes of session – NV governor said he does not support legislation that infringes on constitutional rights of Nevadans … One bill would have raised the eligible age to possess semiautomatic shotguns and assault weapons from 18 to 21. Another would have barred possession of a gun within 100 yards of an election site entrance with narrow exceptions, while also solidifying language meant to ban homemade “ghost guns.” A third bill would have prohibited owning a firearm within a decade of a gross misdemeanor or felony hate crime conviction. Supportive feedback is important. Especially noting the antis with their knives out.

Gunmaker Heckler & Koch inserted themselves into the “woke beer wars” by showing support for Miller Lite’s cringeworthy feminist campaign against the use of “sexy women” in product promotions. HK praised Miller Lite for their decision not to employ sexy “bunnies” in their beer advertisements. The gunmaker took it a step further the following day, issuing a second tweet denouncing such “objectifying” advertising campaigns as “trash marketing.” [More]
I don’t have anything to do with either company except to note Miller has made its market choices and H&K always struck me as pricey disarmer armers.
That said, the use of tit girls in gun ads always struck me as disingenuous, pandering, and more than anything, existentially trivializing.
And forgive me if I also find the term “gentlemen’s club” oxymoronically absurd.

The groups involved say arrests and prosecutions are not the answer. Instead, the groups will work with the public to offer help paying rent, finding jobs, and other basic needs.[More]
Yes, further absolve them of the responsibilities of citizenship as bribes to not conduct themselves like psychopathic animals– we oughta see those homicide numbers plummet!
Those expectations don’t strike anyone as racist…?

If they’re that trustworthy, what’s the problem with them having machine guns?

This country’s gun addiction is fostered not by young Black men but by a far right that is drunk with reactionary fever dreams and visions of race war. [More]
I was just thinking that last weekend while shooting up Baltimore.
We’re told the hateful, self-enamored ignoranus who penned this prejudiced screed is “one of UTNE Reader’s ’50 Visionaries Who Are Changing Our World.’”
If that isn’t the benchmark on what’s of lasting importance, I don’t know what is.
“Youths” are just randomly walking into people’s houses for TikTok fame. [More]
I don’t know where this was taken (UK?), but I have to assume in a place where the assumption is homeowners are not armed.
I’ll bet a parody video showing a justified response would get the poster canceled off more than just social media.

The irony of anti-gun activists relying on armed supporters for their protection raises significant questions about their underlying motives and intentions. [More]
Not for those of us who have been paying attention it doesn’t.
Founders Knew: They Foresaw Today’s Unaccountable Government! [More]
Understanding the arguments of the Founding Era is critical to informed citizenship.
The members of today’s Left have pushed liberty into nihilism, defining it as the right to live free from biological sex, family, tradition, and God—free from reality. They paint every inherited structure, every moral duty and social obligation, as a shackle that must be smashed, by government if necessary, so the individual can be made “free.” [More]
Damned oppressive physics…
The unasked questions: Cui bono?
And how can the protective layers be pulled back to root them out and drag them into burning sunlight?

On the House side, “Republicans” Charlie Conrad and Kevin Mannix joined the Democrats to pass HB 2572. [More]
Just an observation: I don’t see Oregon gun owners tearing into these traitors on their respective Facebook pages.
I wonder how many think OFF volunteers are supposed to do all the work and how many just don’t care.

To borrow a line from our law enforcement leaders, if you haven’t done anything wrong, what have you got to hide?
Unchecked speculation could well Streisand Effect this thing they’re seemingly desperate to keep quiet into the stratosphere and tell me investigative reporters aren’t using every trick in the book to troll for a whistleblower.
Meanwhile, the spin doctors are out in force.

Trump-Endorsed Daniel Cameron Wins Kentucky GOP Primary for Governor [More]
He must, as President Biden reminds us, must not be black. And seeing as how Republicans are white supremacists, I’ll leave you with the words of a “progressive” and inclusive CNN pundit describing him:
Uncle Tom. Step & fetch Negro. The end
You bully bigots and Trump cultists!

From coast to coast, Americans are being herded into two camps. There are the “white supremacists,” those bad people who purportedly hate good people. And then there is everyone else, good people who are encouraged to hate the bad people. [More]
For being the “greatest threat,” I wonder how many members of the “Patriot Front” are feds and their informants? I also wonder how many “white supremacists” are responsible for these…
