Still Going Slow

I have a free hour this morning to catch up on some outstanding emails and to call attention to a few things. I’m also waiting on a new Firearms News piece to be posted, I’m just not sure when.

Rather than doing individual posts, time limitations mean I’m going to combine what I’ve got into this one.

LUCY… You got some ‘splainin’ to do!

What happened at FSU that got you fired from Campus Security while still on probation? How does this make you a former police officer? [More]

Allegations have been made about the fraudulent “Second Amendment supporter” du jour. It’ll be interesting to see what pulling threads unravels.

Except for that anticipated new article announcement, this is all I’m going to have time for until Monday, presuming something huge I can’t ignore doesn’t happen.

Media Doesn’t Mention Its ‘Responsible’ Gun Owner is a Democrat Apparatchik

NBC Dallas/Fort Worth made sure to identify him as “a gun owner” in its report. Now This News calls him “a Second Amendment supporter.” And not to be left behind, in between emoting for the camera, CNN’s Poppy Harlow acknowledged Spainhouer’s (disingenuous) “pro-Second Amendment” bona fides as he rattled off a laundry list of infringements straight off the Giffords/Everytown/Brady wish list … [More]

What’s being a Democrat activist stumping on national TV for the party’s citizen disarmament agenda got to do with his credibility as a “Second Amendment supporter”?

A Last Ditch Attempt

The grabbers fight like cowardly children, which I suppose is a good thing.

Our Friends Across the Aisle

Woah this is insane. In Loudon County, VA a bunch of leftists associated to many elected Democrats had a secret group where they plotted revenge against parents who spoke up at school board meetings. It included threats of shooting parents and evil attempts to get parents fired! [More]

If I had time today I’d search the politicians’ Facebook pages to try and find pictures of them with their Moms Demand/Giffords endorsees.

And Jorge helped!

If It Saves One Life

“I know some of the opponents have said will this stop and end all gun violence? It will not,” said Rep. Cedrick Frazier, DFL-New Hope of the red flag language. “But it is a tool that can prevent, and it is a tool that if it saves 10 lives, if it saves one life, we have done a job that needs to be done.” [More]

If that’s the threshold, can trampolines be far behind?

And notice how the “Authorized Journalists” obligingly advance suspension of due process as one of “public safety”? I wonder how many other rights we could abrogate that could “save one life”…?

To all those saying gun groups should ignore the border invasion and instead focus on crafting a welcoming outreach to persuade the new hordes to embrace our values, flesh out what you’ve got to overcome all this, and how it will be done before it’s too late.

Besides your ill-thought-out and wholly unsubstantiated opinion on echo chamber sites that don’t get the global traffic in a year that the celebrity whore du jour can command in one instance by performing a “wardrobe malfunction”…

Slow Going Ahead

I have a relative coming in from out of state this afternoon and a big family weekend planned.

I’ll be posting my new article announcements and get to what I can from tips sent in but please understand that I don’t expect to be back to full speed until next week and hold back accordingly.

We’re the Only Ones Unprotective Enough

U. Arizona’s first female police chief to step down following professor’s shooting death [More]

Apparently, failure to adequately bureaucratize overcomes “no duty to protect.”

What we won’t see blamed is this:

Arizona Board of Regents Policies 5-302 and 5-303 prohibit the use, possession, display, or storage of any weapons, explosive device, or fireworks on the University of Arizona campus and on all land and in all buildings owned or under the control of the University of Arizona on behalf of the Arizona Board of Regents, except as provided in ARS §12-781. No concealed carry permit exempts a person from this policy.

The march of folly continues unabated.

Man makes $21,000 selling 3D-printed guns during NY AG gun buyback program [More]

Does the state have the authority to ensure its “No Questions Asked” promise will keep the feds at bay on its “engaging in the business of dealing in firearms” prohibition for non-FFLs? Now that he’s on state and fed radar, I hope he gets qualified tax advice on how to report that.

Focus on What Works

Megyn Kelly talks about the mass shooting at a Texas mall over the weekend, why the gun control zealots are stopping us from getting anything done to stop these murders, what efforts could actually stop these prevalent shootings, and more. [More]

Good girl for the most part. Although I question her characterizing any grabber as “reasonable,” as she does when pointing viewers at the end to a debate she moderated.

One of These Things is Not Like the Others

Why are mass shootings rare in other countries despite high levels of gun ownership? [More]

Hmmm

That is

indeed

a mystery

worth exploring

Unfortunately, or I should say intentionally, “real reporter” Justin Klawans does not see fit to ask how similar demographics in the armed-to-the-teeth United States fare, and if there might be some populations (like the 5 million NRA members) with statistically insignificant “gun violence” incidents and rates, and others where the bad stuff is concentrated.

In other words:

But it was an intentional miss. His masters are paying him to not even mention that and draw exclusive focus to “gun laws,” and he knows if he doesn’t do what they expect, he can be replaced

A Plan Comes Together

The actual supremacist is but one out of 13 horrific acts of violence that they whitewash with the exception of that one loathsome scum. If you just read and don’t click the links, you might very well think white people are going crazy with guns all over the country. [More]

Yeah. Ginning up mass fear is a useful precursor to ginning up mass hate.

How Very ‘Progressive’

A 46-year-old man was fatally shot by a fellow campaign staffer while handing out flyers for a progressive political group in Philadelphia ahead of the city’s upcoming mayoral race. [More]

OnePA? Looks like they’re 0 for 2 on “common sense gun reforms” and black lives mattering.

Care to see what else they’re wrong on?
