Lotta reasons for that, including guns last a long time if you take care of them. And it looks like diversity isn’t the salvation some are acting like it will be.

Nova Scotia’s trial systems are now “off limits,” with camping, hiking, fishing and even driving through the woods now forbidden. And those who get caught disobeying the ban, could be served with a hefty $25,000 fine. [More]

California’s AB 495 is the most dangerous bill we’ve ever seen—and it’s being pushed right now by lawmakers in Sacramento. This bill would allow any non-related adult, a neighbor, teacher, ex-relative, or even a complete stranger, to take custody of your child without your knowledge or consent. No background check. No court order. No parent’s signature. Just a piece of paper. [More]
If they can take your guns, why would they be afraid to take your kids?

On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” New York Assemblyman Alex Bores (D) said that “it is finally time for us to have a nationwide ban on assault weapons, on these AR-15-style weapons.” But “we shouldn’t be in these discussions on the ticky-tacky aspects of the specific guns. We need to be taking action to keep people safe. Exactly where we draw the line on exactly what kind of weapon, we can discuss.” [More]
We’ve seen where that “discussion” ends.
