Trump needs to make an example of himself.

One anonymous defense official was quoted in the report saying, “Troops are compelled by law to disobey unlawful orders.” [More]
And here we’ve been told Oath Keepers were an anti-government insurrectionist militia, with most of the information refuting that scrubbed from all but the Wayback Machine…
After years of feminizing the US military through DEI initiatives, a new executive order under consideration by the Trump transition team would establish a “warrior board” of retired senior military personnel which would be granted the power to review three- and four-star officers and recommend any removals of those deemed unfit for leadership. [More]
Start with these “advisors.”
[Via bondmen]
Trump’s election has also raised questions inside the Pentagon about what would happen if the president issued an unlawful order, particularly if his political appointees inside the department don’t push back. “Troops are compelled by law to disobey unlawful orders,” said another defense official. [More]
And here I thought a top priority was to purge Oath Keepers…
The federal agency responsible for implementing a military draft, should the need arise, reposted a vulgar tweet Wednesday suggesting that the US is on a course reminiscent of Nazi Germany. [More]
That reminds me… when they come for our young to die for their elite masters, I never did get my questions resolved:
And because that law only applies to “men,” the law and its risks are sexist, unequal, and unfair. But that’s not the half of it, and here’s where things get ludicrous.
The thought strikes that since even new Supreme Court Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson cannot define “woman” (neither, evidently can Merriam-Webster), and with the example set on the world stage by Admiral Rachel Levine, a “man” could claim the law doesn’t apply to (zim?) because (zie/they?) identifies as a woman. Updated DOD policy would appear to support that.
Conversely, equal treatment under the law demands that any born-biological female now identifying as a man be prosecuted for failure to register. After all, like the Selective Service sign warns, “It’s the law!”
I can’t wait for the top-down scouring to begin.

Are the adults in the galaxy about to speak or are we talking fantasy distraction from serious issues here?
If there were an alien race capable of making it here from the stars, my guess is, just observing the way innovation is encouraged and technology flourishes when freedom is encouraged, that they would have outgrown coercive collectivism, which stifles the incentives to excel.
Or maybe it’s a sign from below…
Right now I’m going with “distraction.” If I have cause to change my mind, it means there’ll be more observable evidence.

UPDATE
Added context, received via email:
The facts present a scenario and probabilities that indicate:
If stealing the election is not possible (read that too large of margin) and Trump wins the the general election, Many democrats have already stated the will NOT allow the electoral college vote to be certified (14 amendment).
They will try to force congress to vote per the constitution 13th amendment (which requires they only can vote for the top three electoral college vote recipients).
Only Trump and Harris will have ANY electoral votes…Meaning they plan on forcing a vote for Harris.
Unless the republicans walk and don’t allow a quorum to be called that is what will happen.
No quorum, then Vance will be “Acting” president until things are sorted out.
Now weave into this mess that all info that establishment does not like is “misinformation” and all folks who refuse to accept this scenario will be called a either an insurrectionist or a domestic terrorist.
NOW; RE-read the DOD memo granting themselves the right to use lethal force….
Get the picture?
Trump’s top general calls ex-president ‘fascist to the core’ and ‘most dangerous person to this country,’ new book says [More]
It’s telling that “top men” have adopted the language of Antifa.
Don’t expect him to acknowledge:
Mussolini was a Socialist Party member, and invented Fascism after the Socialist Party kicked him out. As he was walking out the door, Mussolini said “Do not imagine that by tearing up my membership card in the Socialist Party you can forbid my socialist faith or prevent me from continuing to work for the cause of socialism and the revolution”
The first Fascist Party platform published in 1919 included things like a law mandating an 8-hour workday, a heavy inheritance tax, a heavy tax on capital, management of industries by workers unions, and universal suffrage (women right to vote).
Mussolini himself said:
“We are fighting to impose a higher social justice. What does social justice mean? It means guaranteed work, decent homes, and the possibility of evolution and improvement.”
“If classical liberalism spells Individualism, Fascism spells Government”
Two books explaining Fascism, and endorsed by Mussolini, specifically explained:
“The function of private enterprise is assessed from the standpoint of the public interest, and hence an owner or director of a business undertaking is responsible before the State….(Fausto Pitigliani, The Corporative State)
“More Important than the production of wealth is its right distribution, distribution which must benefit in the best possible way all the classes of the nation, hence the nation itself”.
So it seems an appropriate rebuttal would come from a surprising source.
Y’know, one of our greatest “war heroes” was a guy named Arnold…

Firestorm erupts over requiring women to sign up for military draft [More]
Prepping for overseas disasters with an open border and active invasion at home, I see…
First of all, what the hell’s a “woman”?
And if that addition to the defense authorization bill doesn’t pass and identifying as a woman remains an “out” from coerced service, I can see a lawsuit from “heritage males” against discrimination and for equal protection…
Knowing the Democrats are behind this, I also smell an expanded pathway to citizenship… Then again, watching pushback from the Antifa/River to the Sea types ought to be entertaining.

Just wait. They’ll turn up at crime scenes. And fuel more infringement hysteria.
Many of you know I used to do policies and procedures for a defense contractor, and we had inventory controls and secure stores protocols in place to account for and prevent stuff going “missing.” Quite simply, it’s not that hard to achieve.
So this is either inexcusable incompetence and laziness, or outright criminality. Either way, if this happened at an FFL’s place of business, he would be shuttered and facing charges.
On the plus side, even when they have total registration they can’t handle it. Of course, we’ve known that for some time.
What a way to dishonor a memory. I do wonder what he’d have thought of the coerced name change…
