Yearning to Breathe Free Stuff

(21:38) Large numbers of these people that have come into our country over the last 30 years from other places in the world other than Europe are only here to consume. In other words, they’re here to acquire wealth and consume it. They didn’t come here to become Americans because they don’t know what it means to be an American… (30:26) We know from experience that when a
society can’t assimilate it usually destroys or the entity that refuses to be assimilated destroys the society. [Watch]

Alternatively, you could believe in “gun influencer” exceptions being the rule.

Homeless man suing for $10 million after breaking into business and being shot by owner [More]

To be fair, every time I see an intruder with bolt cutters, I figure he’s just trying to keep warm. And who wouldn’t believe the burglar’s version of what went down?

What the heck was the owner shooting? And, rather than finish the job he called for an ambulance to save the guy’s life? No good deed goes unpunished, especially with no shortage of ambulance-chasing shysters who know extortion and settling out of court lets them collect from the productive with minimal effort.

‘Real Reporter’ Obsessed with Frothy Nuts

Gun nuts froth as Todd Blanche goes back on his word to keep 92-year ban in place [More]

Now there’s some fair and balanced journalism for ya.

Careful, David Edwards, you get any more worked up you’re gonna pop your Rapex.

We don’t hate the DSM enough.

Beshear Nonsense

“To stop mass shootings, we have got to elect Democrats that will actually do something about it,” Beshear said. [More]

Do what, exactly…?

How many Republicans are in Jametrius’ family and/or shoot rivals at Charles Young Park?

Beshear is worse than a liar. He’s a traitor, and those who vote for him are either Judas’s or useful idiots, not to say they can’t be both.

Funny thing about Kentucky– where the hell are the state grassroots gun rights groups?

Kentucky Concealed Carry Coalition ceased operations in Feb. ’25.

Gun Owners of Kentucky hasn’t updated its Facebook since 2023 and I see no evidence that it actually did anything.

Kentucky State Rifle and Pistol Association talks about sport on its website but doesn’t mention rights, and its Facebook is either discontinued or closed to the public.

GOA and NRA have presences, but those are national groups.

So… are there any conclusions we could reasonably draw about the seriousness of the majority of Kentucky gun owners at working to preserve their right to keep and bear arms? They can’t all be down in the holler plucking off revenuers.

‘Greater Happens Here’?

Virginia State University shooting: At least 5 injured, one critically – VSU says the shooting involved ‘multiple suspects’ near the Quad Annexes [More]

Yep, you know it:

The university’s employees, students, and volunteers are prohibited from carrying, maintaining, or storing a firearm or weapon on any university property.

Who don’t Democrats trust?

The whole damn state has learned nothing by maintaining “a very sound policy.”

Lockdown lifted. Unidentified perps at large. Feel safer yet?

A Blue Dog Democrat

Rebeccacookemomsdemand

“They’re people that understand rural Democrats, working-class Democrats, that are showing up in rural communities and working-class spaces that historically our party has left behind. [More]

Or as Giffords puts it, she can con the Fudds:

Cooke understands Wisconsin’s rich heritage of hunting and sport shooting—and while she respects that tradition and has spent time at a deer camp or two, she also knows that we have a responsibility to enact commonsense gun safety reforms to keep our children and communities safe from senseless shootings.

Guess who’s turn it is in the barrel when Democrats get an unchallengeable majority.

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its partners have filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York challenging New York law that bars the sale and transfer of Glock and Glock-style handguns. [More]

Welcoming the Stranger

Just one day after Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge Nichelle Holmes released criminal illegal alien Marcos Iriarte-Valdez from jail, he allegedly stabbed a Martinez, California, resident to death during a botched burglary. [More]

Ah, the fruits of bond hearings over mandatory detentions bear out. You get what you vote for, don’t you?

The last post notwithstanding, if you do confront, don’t be unarmed. Your neighbor’s house is a bit different than being at the store, and a shout and a call to 911 seemed in order.

BASED Elderly Woman in Tucson Pulls Gun and Chases Shoplifter Out of Ross – Police Warn Bystanders Risk ASSAULT Charges for Stopping Crime [More]

“Elderly”? I bet I have at least 10 years on her, probably more, and I can still take on snarling feral sons Uday and Qusay while clenching a cigar between my teeth.

In any case, in this situation, where it doesn’t stay out as self-defense so any resulting DGU would be weighed against who first threatened whom, I’m with Rick Blaine.

Especially with a corporation that virtue signals its DEI “commitment.”

Doing the Jobs Americans Won’t Do

Authorities claim that in February 2026, Lopez Velazco and Diaz Jimenez negotiated the purchase and transportation of RPGs, machine guns, explosive devices, and other dangerous weapons from the Czech Republic to Mexico. [More]

Free at Last, Free at Last, Thank God Almighty, We’re Free at Last!

Just like that? You’re sure? No pre-conditions or memberships needed? FFLs are all sure of what they need to do? Got all those questions for DOJ answered?

I’d hate to think people who had nothing to do with it and don’t know what they’re talking about are spreading bad legal advice.

And when are you going to do something about oath-breaking Republican power players like Ben Albritton?

Heads We Win, Tails You Lose

Ohio’s Unfinished Suppressor Reform Leaves a State-Law Trap for Gun Owners [More]

Fresh on the heels of killing the Freedom to Carry Act. And not correcting state and county fair citizen disarmament edicts.

And they wonder why it looks like Sherrod Brown is polling ahead of 2A squish Jon Husted and Vivek isn’t running over Amy Acton.

Hudson Antifa” is not an anomaly. The state is in danger of going blue– I think it will. And clueless Vichycons are doing nothing to put fire in gun owner bellies.

Ohio Gun Owners names names. And while it’s easy for some to dismiss them based hostility against the Dorr brothers, resist ad hominem dismissal for a moment and see for yourself if A ratings and endorsements are deserved.

Today’s Five-Minute Activism

I figure that’s how long it will take to read all this and then seconds to do what it asks.

While he appreciates all the support his son’s case has drawn—there are hundreds of videos and stories chronicled on his “Freedom for Tate” website—Tate remains is prison. To date, there has been no formal move to secure his release—despite the kind words of more than a few elected officials. [More]

Look at what just happened with NFA as a result of massive numbers of gun owners making noise that could not be ignored with midterms coming up.

Advocacy media played a huge part in that.

As just a cursory look shows us:

Image

If a million gun owners simply reposted a “tweet” (or whatever the hell you call them these days) saying “FREEDOM FOR TATE” that shared this link and copied Todd Blanche, Harmeet Dhillon and Donald Trump, I guarantee you it would get their attention.

Any bets on the chances?

Like Pogo said…

There’s an App for That

SplitSec, a Chicago company, says its app uses residents’ phones instead of the fixed acoustic sensors used by the controversial Shotspotter program… SplitSec ultimately wants roughly 300 to 400 participants per ward to create a sufficiently dense “mesh” of phones that can corroborate suspected gunfire. The company has floated an introductory price of $15,000 per ward per year [More]

And you thought ShotSpotter was a boondoggle. Everything to dance around and ignore the obvious.

Be funny if reporting phones get confiscated as evidence..
