Been a while since we called on Gomer…
I filed a complaint, on April 16th, 2025, using the above methods, regarding the absolute failure of the NRA’s member to director email system, and specifically filed it against two individuals, Sec. Frazer and CCO Mensinger. I was supposed to check back for a follow up, today, 4-30-2025. Nothing. [More]
’24 NRA Annual Compliance Report To Members [More]
Yeah, I’m a Life Member, too, and if they sent this out or otherwise publicized it, I missed it.
Tangentially related, I haven’t had the time (or the inclination, to be honest) to find out anything about these guys. If you have knowledge, please educate the rest of us in comments.
I was “cc’d” on an email to NRA Executive VP Hamlin and a couple dozen other 2A community names. I’ve received permission to post it. [More]
A lot of thought went into it and it merits being seen by more. Feel free to forward that link if you think this is a discussion that more should be having. Since I don’t have comments on my WOG Placeholder blog, enter any you may have under this post.
UPDATE
It appears some won’t allow this discussion in their chatrooms because they say it’s “actionable libel.”

They just had to make it all about them. I like my suggestion better.

There’s a lesson here about what we admit in writing coming back to bite us. Hunter Biden learned it.
There’s also a legitimate question about where his head was at before being “demoted.”

Longtime readers know, I only endorse candidates who have successfully answered my questionnaire. That said, Robert K. Brown is asking friends to help spread petitions for Rocky Marshall and Phillip Journey.
I haven’t approached either, so they probably don’t know about my Q&A and I don’t know what they’d do if they did. I’m sharing this information because Col. Brown asked.
Do your due diligence and then do what you think is right.
I’ll say this much– after all their bitching about NRA, if members don’t care enough to change it, they deserve to have it collapse on them.
The BSCA was passed last summer over the NRA’s objections, with proponents congratulating themselves on their “bi-partisan” achievement. [More]
So how many “staunch supporters of the Second Amendment” are you goin g to down-rate?
And posturing now only obscures the fact that when the asteroid was still in nudging distance, you weasels were giving cover to your pet Quislings with a spineless “framework” excuse.

It’s tough enough beating back citizen disarmament schemes without having to tell our ostensible leaders to stop advocating for them.

Are you getting a return on your investment with the NRA? [Watch]
I guess. I became a Life Member back in the 90s and every month they send me their magazine, so I’m sure the initial donation has been paid back. That and I’ve attended several Annual Meetings at no admission cost. But I haven’t sent them a dime in decades now and like many others won’t unless and until heads at the top roll.

Anybody up on what’s going on with NRA’s action?
UPDATE
Here’s the GOA Order:
24 years ago today, Wayne LaPierre—who’s STILL the CEO despite running the NRA into the ground amid scandal & bankruptcy—testified to Congress in support of universal background checks. [Watch]
What with bump stocks, mental health blanket dragnets, Second Amendment-free schools, breaking the rules and stabbing a loyalist in the back to promote a Lautenberg supporter, and driving the organization into a legal and financial swamp, and plenty more, you’d think the grabtards would want to keep Wayne on…
As I said on Monday, the gloves have come off and the powers that be at the NRA have created an implacable enemy in former 1st VP Willes Lee. Now that he is free from the constraints of being both an officer and a member of the Special Litigation Committee, Lee is feeling no remorse about starting to air dirty laundry. [More]
When I met him in Pittsburgh last October at the 2022 NRA-ILA Firearms Law & the Second Amendment Symposium, I thought from the impression I had of him being a Fairfax loyalist that he’d have a real problem with me. Instead, he was gracious, told me voices like mine needed to be heard, and asked me to introduce him to Stephen Stamboulieh. The possibility was there in the back of my mind but I didn’t get the sense I was being played.
Seeing how his years of being the good soldier have been repaid you gotta wonder why– and why Wayne et al. thought that was a good idea. Maybe now that he’s freeing himself up to be candid about its inner workings, perhaps we’ll find out why, as it’s increasingly obvious that his loyalty is to NRA as an institution and its staff.
