WA Gun Insurance Bill Shows No Depths Are TOO LOW for Gun Hating Democrats

This is all obviously unconstitutional and will never stand up to the text, history, and tradition standards of Bruen… [More]

They’ll keep harassing until they’re made to stop.

Rifling Through a Gun Bill

Gun Owners of America endorsed Representative Tracey Mann’s “Reining In Federal Licensing Enforcement Act” …The RIFLE Act would protect Federal Firearm Licensees (FFLs) from being forced out of business by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF) overreaching directives. [More]

Here’s the bill.

I thought ATF announced they were ending zero tolerance voluntarily, but this would make it mandatory and besides, who believes them?

I don’t see it on GovTrack yet, but they give his recently introduced “H.R. 624: To reform the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives” a “1% chance of being enacted.”

There’s still one question no one evidently thinks we’re ready to ask:

Licensing…?

Commie Sense Gun Laws

Rep. Kristine Reeves, D-Federal Way, proposed House Bill 1504… individuals would have to obtain a firearm liability insurance policy or bond before purchasing or possessing the weapon…the liability policy or bond must cover at least $25,000 of coverage per incident [and] would also require firearm range operators to obtain general liability insurance with at least $1 million of coverage per incident. If an individual owns more than 25 firearms, they would qualify as a self-insurer by obtaining a certificate from the state…“establishing that the person named therein has deposited with the department $25,000.” [More]

This will not survive Bruen. What I’m wondering is, will Bondi ever direct Justice to defend the law, and if not why not?

And no. Stop with the chronic defeatism.

Docket Teasers

David Snope, et al., Petitioners v. Anthony G. Brown, in His Official Capacity as Attorney General of Maryland, et al… Jan 21 2025 DISTRIBUTED for Conference of 1/24/2025. [More]

Ditto for Ocean State Tactical v. Rhode Island.

Will they hear either? Can they hear one on semiautos without hearing the other on magazines?

And if we tune in tomorrow, will they again tell us to come back Monday to find out?

Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics

Biden Justice Department ‘manipulated’ crime data to fit Democrats’ narrative: retired police officer – Biden administration claimed violent crime rate in US was at 50-year low [More]

They’re not the only ones playing fast and loose with “facts”:

5 Reasons You Shouldn’t Believe Everytown’s State Rankings

No worries. Democrat cultists won’t see these stories and would reject them as racist and fascist if they did.

More Gun Control!

Tennessee high school shooting: 1 killed, 1 wounded, teen gunman dead of self-inflicted gunshot: police [More]

The liars at Giffords blame this:

Tennessee doesn’t have:

❌Universal background checks
❌Gun owner licensing
❌Large capacity magazine ban
❌Waiting periods
❌Community violence intervention funding
❌Lost and stolen firearm reporting

There are actually morons who believe them.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond

Yvette Cooper, the home secretary, said it was “a total disgrace” that Axel Rudakubana was “easily able to order a knife on Amazon” despite being aged 17 and having a conviction for violence. It is illegal to sell knives to under-18s. [More]

The stupid slag would mandate limiting non-governmental humanity to pre-Neanderthal technology.

I would not die for these people so would therefore be against any American being sent to die for these people.

He’ll Sign It If He Has to…

Gov. Jared Polis said Thursday night that a ban on the manufacture and sale of semiautomatic firearms with a removable ammunition magazine isn’t his preferred method of tackling gun violence, but he’s not fundamentally opposed to the idea. [More]

That’s a Democrat’s idea of “compromising” on guns.

When is SCOTUS gonna stop with the stalling and put an end to this clearly unconstitutional subversion?

The Avalanche Starting Zone

Today, the 2025 New Mexico Legislative Session officially started. This year is a 60-day session that will allow a large number of bills to be heard. Only a few of the bills we are expecting this year have been filed so far – below is a list of the key bills we are watching. [More]

Red flags, “weapon conversion devices,” juvenile records, and more on the way… and yeah, “consitutional carry,” but there’s this

Speaking of History, Text, and Tradition…

Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and FPC Action Foundation (FPCAF) have filed an important new lawsuit challenging federal laws prohibiting licensed firearm dealers from selling handguns to out-of-state buyers. [More]

So when I read an authoritative historical article asserting “most of the early American rifles and pistols came from Eastern Pennsylvania,” why does it say nothing about out-of-colony buyers (and more)?
