How about a way to derail other events by contacting city attorneys and reminding them that incentivizing people who don’t know the first thing abnout guns, including how to clear them, to handle and transport them, is not “gun safety,” but instead created a “gun liability” for them if a mishap ensues…?

I’m wondering if coming up with some kind of LE notification for the local police and sheriff would be feasible along the lines of telling them who you are, where you live, and why someone might want to do that to you, would be useful for them to have on record as a precaution against a military assault being their default setting, or if that wold be breaking the First Rule of Rights Club…

I’m reminded of the way things used to be, and that reminds me of a family story.
I had an uncle who was a former Marine (WWII AND Korea) who ran the Post Office at Camp Pendleton. One day a general came in who had risen through the ranks and my uncle had been his sergeant when he had started out. The general greeted him warmly and couldn’t praise him enough for what his leadership had meant to him as the two brothers in arms with mutual loyalties recalled old times.
How many packages do you think were stolen from that facility?
