I Beg to Differ

Unfettered democracy and markets cannot be controlled by a tiny, self-serving elite. [More]

Sure they can. What does this guy think “two wolves and a sheep” and woke corporate struggle session cancel culture abrogating rights government isn’t ready to take on yet are all about?

We Don’t Cotton to Your Kind Around Here

Just over a month after an associate dean at the University of Kansas School of Law labeled a speech that had yet to be given “hate speech,” Justice Caleb Stegall resigned from his teaching position at KU Law over the controversy. [More]

So they didn’t beg him to come back and fire the other guy?

No, of course not. Why undo all that work once a plan has come together?

There’s a ‘Cunning Runts’ Joke in Here Somewhere…

The question, “Why do conservatives equate the inclusion of transgender female athletes as an attack on women’s sports?,” prompted backlash from a Twitter user, known as Lauren, who attacked the paper’s “journalistic integrity.” [More]

You not only can’t talk about it. You can’t ask about it.

Hey, it’s not me being painted into a corner

Authorized Infringers?

Jordan says the ghost gun rule “goes well beyond the authority granted to the agency in any applicable federal statutes,” and expands the legal definition of a firearm beyond what Congress intended. A prior letter from Jordan to ATF declared the rule “appears to be a deliberate attempt to usurp the authority of Congress,” and said it unconstitutionally infringes “on American citizens’ fundamental Second Amendment rights and privacy rights under the Fourth Amendment.” [More]

He’s right about the agency lacking authority. What I’ve yet to see is where Congress can legitimately claim it.

And I don’t see too many on “our side” talking about that.

The Truth Will Out?

‘YOU OPENED THE DOOR’ Wray hides in BASEMENT after ‘calling ri0ter’ clip in ‘January’…Pelosi cries [Watch]

Let’s hope Clay Higgins is right when he says they’re going to find out. I’ve got an AmmoLand article in the queue about AP “fact checkers” covering for Adam Schiff’s “scrubbing” comment I hope he looks into.

California Firearm Purchase Delay Evokes MLK ‘Justice Denied’ Quote

If the California DOJ won’t let Ed buy a gun, what’s to say they’ll let him keep the ones he already has if their misidentification persists? It’s not like they don’t know what he has and where he lives. That alone, along with the propensity of state disarmament enforcers to violently descend in the middle of the night, makes calling attention to his plight a matter of personal safety. [More]

Nothing says “shall not be infringed” like “How do we know you’re not a criminal?”

I Remember That Commercial!

“Make that white boy check in…Make Taylor Swift check in,” said White in an interview in which he calls out the Houston check in. “Why the n***gas have to check in Mr. Prince, Mob Ties?…you don’t make the police check in…You are just making your people check in. That ain’t how the mob works. They make everybody pay a price…that’s why I don’t respect it.” [More]

So roaches check in or they don’t check out?

How about NOBODY pays travel extortion and if any roaches try to collect it they get squashed? Alternatively, avoid Democrat oothecae in the first damn place.

The War on Truth

“We were censored, shadowbanned, deplatformed for sharing stats, facts and scientific data taken from the government’s own websites about COVID-19 — the same facts the current director of the CDC, Fauci, and others are now saying are true after two plus years of denying these facts. We were right all along”… [More]

A Latin phrase comes to mind.

When Black Friday Comes

Received via email:

Noted this recent news item:

“Numbers released Monday show that the FBI ran 192,749 National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) background checks on Black Friday 2022.” (and 711,372 total for the week) — Did not include the number rejected and I don’t expect to ever see a final tally of justified rejections vs. approved on reexamination.

Inexcusable

Authorities said Lopez left a loaded .45 pistol in his living room when he went to bed. The following morning, officials said the 6-year-old boy found the gun and began playing with it when it went off, killing him. [More]

Tragic. Outrageous. If he’s an otherwise decent human being, he’ll suffer hell on earth for the rest of his life.

And it’s so unnecessary. We raised two boys. Rational coexistence simply isn’t that hard to attain.
