Cancer Starts Out as Localized Cells

Tradition HOA bans firearms in common areas, sparking debate and pushback from Port St. Lucie official – The new rule applies to everyone, including concealed carry permit holders, and covers parks, trails, and public gathering spaces in the Port St. Lucie community. [More]

The police chief says he won’t enforce it as a criminal action but I imagine if it resulted in a trespassing charge they’d have to get involved.

It sounds like the HOA has its share of idiots besides the ones on the board. I’m talking YOU, Tomasz.

And I’m reminded of Witless and Titless.

With Republicans Like These…

Grnc

These are not Democrats. These are elected Republicans who ran on a platform of constitutional rights, who took Republican votes, accepted Republican support, and now — when their constituents need them most — are siding with Governor Stein and Moms Demand Action to deny you the right every other law-abiding adult in 29 other states already enjoys. [More]

F_n’ pieces of $#!+.

So, would I rather have a totally anti-gun Democrat?

Yes.

Because when Republicans vote against us the system has already failed. Rolling over for them won’t make it succeed. Until they learn they can’t win without us, there will be nothing to deter their continued betrayals. Voting for them rewards that.

But then we’ll lose our Second Amendment rights!!!

So you’ll just turn yours in?

This is why I hate influencers spreading defeatism.

We don’t need these poltroons. They need us.

We will not disarm.

And the subversives, oath breakers and wannabe tyrants don’t dare test that with mass confiscations, meaning the Second Amendment is still working.

Remind them of that:

The Blame Game

Auburn grad’s family blames gunmaker, boyfriend’s father in shooting weeks after she landed dream job – Jeffrey Towers, 54, faces manslaughter charge and now a civil suit alleging negligent handling of a .22-caliber revolver [More]

How is that the gunmaker’s fault?

I understand terrible grief can make people do crazy things, but that doesn’t give them license to attack others.

I wonder if the lawyer will sue people for saying he must be a real sleaze bag, and incompetent to boot.

Simon-Pure

The fourth-term congressman, who lost decisively to state Rep. Steve Toth, said baseless attacks about his alleged insider trading and gun stances fueled the upset… Rep. Dan Crenshaw blamed unfounded attacks and a culture of misinformation … saying in an interview that the “power of clickbait” proved too much to overcome. [More]

Right. Couldn’t have been what preceded those “attacks”

Trump has given Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton his “Complete and Total Endorsement” in the Republican runoff against Sen. John Cornyn, calling Paxton a “true MAGA Warrior” and specifically citing his commitment to “Protect our always under siege Second Amendment.” [More]

Just remember to stay on his good side, Ken. Because he once had “terrific” things to say about another guy:

Massietrump 600x600

No tears for Cornyn, just nobody think Paxton comes without warts.

With Massie’s engineered loss, Trump is showing any Party doubters how he can clear the board and replace the pieces. It’ll be interesting to see what events capture the public attention before November and how those play with the general electorate, or if Democrats all hate Trump so much they’ll more widely greenlight communists.

And then see what Trump’s plans are for John Thune after that.

Book on Roman Republic Has Insights for Today’s Freedom Advocates

RomanRepublic

I believe Dr. Faria’s work is essential for dedicated Second Amendment advocates, and although not specifically focused on the right to keep and bear arms, ancient Rome provided the bedrock on which the foundations for our own Republic were set. [More]

We need to understand where we came from to better determine where we are and where we could be headed.

THIRTEEN CHARGED AS FEDS CRACK INTERNATIONAL GUN SMUGGLING RING EXPLOITING THE U.S. AND CANADA BORDER… Straw-Purchased Firearms Sourced from New Hampshire Gun Dealers Were Recovered at Canadian Crime Scenes [More]

This reminds me of something. But what…?

I wonder how many CIs they had embedded in the Akwesasne ring, and if guns could have been intercepted before “walking” across the border– or it being Canada, would it be “gunsledding”?

Collateral Damage

The governor’s acknowledgment that the law covers common hunting models will likely be cited in Second Amendment challenges. If the law is not amended, she could prove the main witness against her own signed legislation. [More]

Yeah, I know… any chair in a bar fight.

Thing is, 2A isn’t about hunting and “common use” will come back to bite us.

So will special exemptions for Fudds.

Above the Law

In short, prosecutors often decide who will go to prison for a long period of time, regardless of the will of the voters. It gets even a little stranger. Though many states initially stripped judges of any discretion under habitual offender laws, the courts pushed back. For example, a case in California (People v. Romero) ended up with the California Supreme Court declaring that trial courts have discretion to dismiss or strike prior strike allegations in Three Strikes cases, either on the court’s own motion or on motion of the prosecutor (even over the prosecutor’s objection). Stated more bluntly, trial judges can creatively thumb their noses at three-strike law requirements. [More]

What could go wrong?

There’s only one law that should matter with violent habitual offenders.
