Brazilians Setting Themselves Up to Repeat Past if Anti-Gun Socialist Elected

They would know that returning to restrictive gun laws under a corrupt regime would virtually guarantee a return to the tyranny of the past. [More]

Short memories and the siren song of “socialism” mean Brazilians will be repeating the misery of yesterday.

Violent Political Rhetoric and Extreme Disarmament Agenda Belie Tim Ryan’s ‘Bipartisan Unifier’ Claim

“Some of those answers will come from Republicans, not the extremists that we are dealing with every single day,” Ryan continued, to show how conciliatory he can be. “We’ve got to kill and confront that movement, but working with normal mainstream Republicans, that’s going to be really, really important.” [More]

So if you don’t let radical gun-grabbing Democrats have the final word on who qualifies as a “normal mainstream Republican,” you’re an “extremist.”

Further Confirmation

Robust analysis does not identify an association between increased lawful firearm sales and rates of crime or homicide. [More]

A-yup.

Then again, the control freak minds behind citizen disarmament aren’t interested in rationality and truth. Their media cheerleaders aren’t much interested in anything that doesn’t promote the narrative, either.

So that means if awareness about this is going to spread, it’s up to us.

We’re the Only Ones Personal Enough

Firearm Licensing- The recent New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen Supreme Court decision stripped local police chiefs of significant discretion regarding who may possess and carry a firearm. In the wake of this decision, this bill amends Massachusetts law to bring gun licensing provisions into compliance with the Supreme Court decision and to ensure that individuals seeking a license to carry are first interviewed personally by their local police chief. No room for obstructions, denials, or delays there…

If You’re So Inclined

On Saturday, September 24th from 1-4 pm, patriots will gather in Washington, D.C., at the corner of Constitution NW and First St NW, North of the Reflecting Pool, to stand united against the political persecution of the January 6th political prisoners. [More]

I was thinking of titling this “Calling All Provocateurs,” but don’t want to be seen as discouraging honest efforts.  That said, I’m staying away from politically-charged crowds these days, especially ones monitored by corrupt feds planning on coming for you in force afterward at a time and place of their choosing.

Then again, some will counter, if we give our right to peaceably assemble up to that, in a way the enemies have won.

Me, I’m thinking a developing “wartime” footing makes the idea of a peaceable assembly a wishful thinking illusion, we’re beyond that now, and the new rules are, let the other guy be the one who’s vulnerable.

Anybody heard any online chatter about this?

A Public/Private Partnership

The Second Amendment Foundation’s Investigative Journalism Project (SAF/IJP) has filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the White House, seeking copies of documents, both digital and print, “that show interactions between White House staff and members of gun control and gun safety groups.” [More]

It won’t be the first time we’ve seen leftists colluding with the government

I haven’t seen the FOIA request itself, so don’t know how they plan on working around this:

By its terms, the FOIA applies to “the Executive Office of the President,” 5 U.S.C. § 552(f), but this term does not include either “the President’s immediate personal staff” or any part of the Executive Office of the President “whose sole function is to advise and assist the President.” Meyer v. Bush, 981 F.2d 1288, 1291 n.1 (D.C. Cir. 1993) (quoting H.R. Rep. No. 1380, 93d Cong., 2d Sess. 14 (1974)); see also, e.g., Soucie v. David, 448 F.2d 1067, 1075 (D.C. Cir. 1971). This means, among other things, that the parts of the Executive Office of the President that are known as the “White House Office” are not subject to the FOIA; certain other parts of the Executive Office of the President are.

Case-Sensitive

D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine says in a new court filing that Metro is too sensitive a place to allow regular commuters to carry handguns, because trains and buses carry large numbers of federal workers and also D.C. school children on a daily basis. [More]

Karl must drive to work.

What’s “a historical understanding” say about this?

Things Could Have Ended Very Differently

Watson said, “Firearms on school property is not only against the school district policy, but it’s against the law, and as we saw in this case if you violate that law your face criminal charges.” [More]

But that’s only because:

“They told the person to stop, drop the weapon, and that person obeyed those commands”…

You guys got lucky.

We’re the Only Ones Subordinating Enough

Today the Office of the Inspector General revealed that an FBI agent engaged in a sexual tryst with one of his subordinates that, at some point, involved the two copulating in a taxpayer funded vehicle. [More]

Maybe it was hump day?

If they can get away with screwing each other, why shouldn’t they figure they can screw you too?

And what do you figure– regular or X-Tra strength to not get caught next time?

A Bicycle Built for Two

San Francisco Bicycle Coalition says not to call police about stolen bikes because it hurts ‘Black and brown’ people [More]

OK, let’s carry this to its logical conclusion. What other crimes statistically result in prosecutorial “overrepresentation,” and why shouldn’t they get a pass?

How about these?

Newspeak is Ingsoc and Ingsoc is Newspeak

Ari Dodge Sheehan, the counseling secretary for the Seattle-area Lynnwood High School, in March sent an employee-wide email to promote “Transgender Visibility Day” and provide guidelines on how to work with transgender students. The message included a section on “terms to avoid” that listed “born a man,” “born a woman,” “biologically male,” “biologically female,” “biological boy,” “biological girl,” “genetically male,” and “genetically female.” [More]
