We’re the Only Ones Irresponsible Enough

Seattle cops somhow lose 23 guns — and have no idea where they went… [More]

Oh, someone has a very good idea…

And if this happened to you under Seattle’s “Responsible Storage Law“…?

No worries. Department spokesflack Patrick Michaud says “We’re going to do our best to ensure that we do better.”

Now there’s a solid pledge!

Just goes to show you though, all these years and I’ve never lost one. ‘Course then, I don’t have all that professional training…

Is This the One?

The Supreme Court is back in session as of Monday October 7th and they have a case before them in Snope v. Brown that could end all bans nationwide. This comes from a 4th circuit decision upholding the Maryland ban. [Watch]

There’s a huge difference between “could” and “will.”

Cross your fingers and wish for the best, but don’t invest all your hope.

He Puts the ‘Sap’ in Sapraicone

Gillibrand vs. Sapraicone: The Race for US Senate forum [Watch]

So. Mike is for “red flag laws and background checks”?

Then why should I believe someone who doesn’t understand the Second Amendment won’t betray us on semiautos the first chance he gets to distance himself from another “gun-free zone” exploitation?

Just like Kirsten did…?

She has such a huge lead anyway, why should the gun owners in her district who aren’t Fudds bust their humps on a losing battle to push for a betrayer with an (R) after his name, and what message would that send the GOP on acceptable candidates?

Alien Nation

The National Partnership for New Americans is a group funded by George Soros that has been naturalizing hundreds of thousands of individuals — at least a quarter of a million of them. “Their goal is to continue to naturalize these migrants and make them into voters,” Wheeler explains. [More]

Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue.” And I have that on good authority.

A Funny Way of Showing It

CNN’s Amanpour says Iran does not want to ‘escalate’ conflict with Israel as Iranian rockets strike country [More]

Figures, the daughter of a Shia Muslim would resort to Tawriya.

She did the same thing on PBS and on the pejoratively-titled “Gun crazy in America” for CNN (where Alan Korwin acquitted himself nicely against multiple attackers in the form of the other “guest” and moderator Amanpour).

The attack shows the duality of media-driven public acceptance of attacks on civilians. The Islamists do it and then embed themselves in the populace so any retaliation will result in collateral damages and condemnation. If the Israelis responded in kind against Tehran, the world would be going crazy against them.

Speaking of deescalating the conflict:

Seven people were murdered and dozens were wounded in a terrorist shooting attack at a light rail station in Jaffa on Tuesday evening.

Look for Christiane to bemoan the Palestinian terrorists getting shot by security forces with “Gun crazy in Israel.”

The Poisoned River

The seemingly benign connotation of socialism today as democratic and altruistic would be a source of laughter to the innovators, namely, Karl Marx (1818–1883) and Friedrich Engels (1820–1895), and to the actual applicators like Vladimir I. Lenin (1870–1924), Joseph Stalin (1879–1953), Mao Tse-tung (1893–1976) or Fidel Castro (1926–2016). If one visited the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) website, or read the Collected Works of Lenin, or listened to the speeches of Fidel Castro, one would quickly realize that all communist demigods use the terms socialism and communism interchangeably.[More]

Miguel A. Faria, M.D., who has lived under and escaped communism, shares some important lessons elaborated in Stalin, Mao, Communism, and their 21st-Century Aftermath in Russia and China.

On with the Show!

Attorneys representing the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and its partners in parallel cases challenging California’s ban on gun shows held on public property have filed an emergency application with the U.S. Supreme Court asking that a Ninth Circuit Court mandate be recalled, and a stay be issued pending an appeal to the high court later this year. [More]

Having personally seen California gun show attendees ignore attempts to preserve RKBA, I have to say their apathy has brought much of their plight upon themselves. The same ones probably haven’t contributed a dime to this case.

We’re the Only Ones De-Listing Enough

“I’m a [r]ealtor, I can show my badge—I can show my ID; give me a chance to show my ID,” Salem allegedly said repeatedly, according to the ruling. [More]

Nah, it’s more fun to terrorize you and take you hostage without probable cause.”Officer safety” is what this country is all about, you know.

Wait for It

Whether we’re talking about 2 minutes to register to vote or 10 or more minutes or even 30 minutes to vote these are a drop in the bucket compared to the months and months and months that some Americans in anti-gun jurisdictions have to wait to be able to get their carry permit to exercise their Second Amendment right… [Watch]

I’ve never applied for one so I wouldn’t know.

Hey, if it only takes two minutes to register, what’s all the phony brouhaha about disenfranchising voters because it’s too hard to prove eligibility?

We’re the Only Ones Retracting Enough

“This is something that was mistakenly enacted. Once we learned that the emergency order was not the order that we intended to declare, we immediately terminated it,” Det. Jarret Romanello, Public Information Officer for the Okeechobee City Police Department, told CBS12 News on Monday. [More]

How may revisions until you came up with the weasel words you thought were least laughable, Jarrett? Tell us you people are inexcusably incompetent without telling us you people are inexcusably incompetent.

And then they posture like the injured party:

“He’s not here today because he was subject to personal attacks all day from all over this country,” Romanello said, referring to Chief Hagan. “Most of the noise is coming from people that live outside the city of Okeechobee.”

So nonlocal opinions aren’t valid? Which logical fallacy is that again? And you’re sayingdeserved criticism is a valid reason to hide under the desk?

To paraphrase Rhett Butler, Boss Hagan deserves to be so attacked, and often, and by people who know how. As do his stooges.
