Slow Going Ahead

Once more a perfect storm of convergences mean I will not be able to get to news tips, emails and other communications.

Tomorrow morning I have a medical test scheduled. I also have a sister and a cousin flying in for my Mother’s inurnment on Friday.

Add to that I was halfway through Part One of a two-part article I’m writing for Firearms News when an excusive update came in a few hours ago for a series of articles I’ve done for AmmoLand over the past eight months and I want to be able to submit it tomorrow afternoon.

And then there’s paying attention to relatives including some planned hikes this weekend in the Cuyahoga Valley culminating in steaks, single malt and cigars at my place…

Bottom line, please hold up on sending me new stuff until Monday, or understand why I can’t do anything with it or respond.

Forced Reset Trigger Ruling Enabled by Senate Republicans

In Morrison’s case, we find, unsurprisingly, she’s a Democrat and a Joe Biden appointee. We also find that “The U.S. Senate confirmed Morrison on June 8, 2022, on a vote of 53-46.” That was close. And it means Republicans had to vote to confirm her. Which Republicans? [More]

With “Republicans” like Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney, who needs Democrats?

We’re the Only Ones Crashing Enough

The police now tell us that the crash only involved a police unit and no other vehicle. Police now say that the officer lost control of his vehicle and hit the center median after striking some large debris on the highway. We’re told the officer’s injuries are minor but that he was taken to the hospital for evaluation. [More]

And a blood test…?

About Those ‘Swarms of Officers’…

Atlanta resident now owes twice the money taken from him after the government loses forfeiture case [More]

What was the history, text, and tradition on asset forfeiture without charges, trial, and conviction at the time the Founders wrote a primary purpose for their compact was “to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity”?

And even before that…?

At Facebook Value

As it turns out, the Biden White House relied on foreign “disinfo” activists to pressure Facebook to censor Americans. Worse, it turns out the group supposedly targeting disinformation had their facts wrong. Facebook knew it, too. [More]

Those must be the “community standards” they keep dinging me for violating…

Posers

The Los Angeles City Council on Tuesday, Sept. 5, approved recommendations intended to promote and track the filing of gun violence restraining orders against people who pose a danger to themselves or others. [More]

If they’re proven dangers, why aren’t they in custody until they no longer are?

If it hasn’t been proven, how is saying they pose a danger not libelous?

The Dotard-in-Chief

And now he just walked out on a Medal of Honor ceremony, the highest honor for a soldier [More]

I don’t think he knows what he’s doing.

Tell me Jill and the White House/Democrat inner circle covering that up isn’t election interference and seditious conspiracy.

Tangentially related, I saw a comment in re recent revelations from a “conservative” saying they didn’t care if Obama was gay, they cared about economy, defense, etc.

That’s missing the point.

Stories about Larry Sinclair were being dismissed and suppressed at a time when they could have made a real difference. Maybe.

I wonder now if the Dems admitted Joe had the intellect of a turnip how many would still vote for him over Donald Trump…

He was pumping her for information

That’s a lot more to the point than the “Authorized Journalist” version, that PGPD Officer Francesco Marlett was “being affectionate.”

A Double-Oxymoron

The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it too. [More]

There’s a discussion going on at AR15.com.

They’re taking a beating on Twit…uh…X.

The company says there was an exculpatory warrant that explains its action.

That doesn’t explain why there was a “back door,” and why that’s a surprise to so many.
