We’re the Only One… What the Hell Are YOU Lookin’ At…?

Bodycam from Brunswick PD at Buzzard’s Roost in Hinckley, OH shows alleged drunk off-duty ATF/DEA/HSI agents illegally detain a man, reports show multiple charges on the agents, including abduction. [Watch]

I need to set aside an hour over the weekend to watch this.

For Appearance’s Sake

Biden administration waives 26 federal laws to allow border wall construction in South Texas [More]

There’s an election coming up and they need to make it look like they’re on top of things.

That said, the Executive “waiving” duly enacted federal laws, even corrupt, evil, and absurd ones, seems to throw separation of powers checks and balances out the window. I wonder what a FOIA request to DHS would reveal about the political motives behind this move– assuming they didn’t stonewall until after the election…

The real meat of this story is in the last paragraph: As with ATF and its “rulemaking,” DHS is reversing its previous position on a wall without explanation, and just building a section leaves plenty of room to go around on both ends.

Good thing this has nothing to do with that “single issue.” And I have that on good authority.

And I’m Proud To Be an American Where At Least I Know I’m Free

U.S. Government Now Confiscating Private Legal Fund Donations to Jan. 6 Defendants [More]

How is that not unmasked tyranny?

And why are they evidently so confident that Americans are going to continue putting up with it?

Oh, and good points about Trump.

Making It Illegaler

Rep. Chip Roy Introduces Bill to Keep Non-Citizens From Voting, Thwarting Democrat Election Strategy [More]

Loophole? What loophole?

Under the new bill, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would be required to provide citizenship status information to states if they are asked for it.

And if they don’t want to ask for it?

Breaking Up is Hard to Do

So the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is celebrating its 20th birthday—the perfect opportunity to rethink the whole concept of “homeland security” and how to best provide it. DHS has grown into a monster that is massively expensive, incredibly ineffective, and reliably destructive of basic civil liberties. It’s time to abolish it and replace it with fewer, smaller, and more accountable agencies. [More]

First, let’s talk about what those agencies would be Constitutionally authorized to do.

Nothing to See Here

DHS has a program gathering domestic intelligence — and virtually no one knows about it [More]

In fairness, most of the DSM has been busy parroting the narrative du jour and they aren’t really intended or qualified to do any “real reporting.”

Besides, it’s not like most Americans will ever read this or grasp the implications and do something about them if they did.

We’re the Only Ones Ride Sharing Enough

Nelson drove the GOV, that he agreed to use only for HSI duty purposes, while working for Amazon, Uber, and Lyft during time periods he was supposed to be working for HSI. [More]

Hey, he didn’t violate policy, did he?

I had a job that required a lot of driving a company car once. I couldn’t have gotten away with this for two days. What does it say about the effectiveness of a “Homeland Security” agency that lets it go on for almost two years?
