We’re the Only Ones Out Clubbing Enough

NEW VIDEO Shows J6 Trump Supporter Rosanne Boyland Shot in the Face by Police Projectile, Then Pushed Down and Smothered, Before Metro Police Officer Beat Her with a Stick as She Died on US Capitol Steps [More]

I wonder if there’ll be a reckoning under the new administration.

No I don’t.

Former President Trump suggested Sunday that one “rough hour” of policing would end crime, as he called for law enforcement to be freed up to “do their job” without restrictions.

Let’s Keep Things in Perspective, Please

The 100 Labour Party staffers who traveled to the U.S. to campaign against Donald Trump and in support of Kamala Harris may face serious legal consequences under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). 💥 Acting as unregistered foreign agents is a federal offense. By interfering in America’s election, these Labour operatives crossed a dangerous line. [More]

Oh, lighten up. It’s not as if they criticized “migrants” on Facebook or owned a TV without a license

When Courts Collide

Based on the above four cases, the cert conflict could not be more dramatic. Range and Williams allow as-applied challenges to the felon ban. Jackson and Hunt categorically allow no challenge to the ban. Since felons are the overwhelming majority of persons prosecuted under § 922(g), resolution by the Supreme Court is direly needed. [More]

The fiction, of course, being that truly dangerous felons require any court’s sanction, and that a higher law they won’t acknowledge doesn’t nonetheless hold true…

A Public/Private Partnership

Gun-detection technology has been installed at more than 200 Utah schools… “The test will involve a representative from ZeroEyes, wearing a safety vest and carrying an Airsoft rifle and an Airsoft pistol,” meant to be visible to security cameras inside and outside an unspecified number of Ogden schools, the notice reads. [More]

So, all you need is a trench coat…?

And this promises to be every bit the boondoggle as ShotSpotter…?

I guess when there’s money to spend, actual effective solutions can be avoided.

On the plus side, it ought to give school resource officers plenty of options for hunkering down…

What a Difference a Day Makes

What Trump Says He Will Do on Day One [More]

I could have sworn he created a very public expectation about guns:

“Every single Biden attack on gun owners and manufacturers will be terminated on my very first week back in office, perhaps my first day.”

And more:

“[S]tarting the minute that Crooked Joe shuffles his way out of the White House at noon on Inauguration Day, we will sack the anti-gun fanatic Steve Dettelbach … and replace him with an ATF director who respects the sacred rights to keep and bear arms.”

OK, Dettelbach sacked himself, but we’ll have to see if his replacement is a priority, and what difference he will make.

And again:

“Under a Trump Administration, all of those Biden disasters get ripped up and torn out my first week, but maybe my first day in office,” the president declared “Okay maybe my first.”

Speaking of Vichycon Swine…

Multiple Republicans voted for gun confiscations without due process in HB-4144 [More]

Until gun owners let the GOP know they cannot betray us and win, this will continue. They need uncompromising gun owners more than uncompromising gun owners need them.

So does that mean I’d rather let a really, really anti-gun Democrat win the seat instead?

Does that mean you’d surrender your guns if they did?

Requiescat in Pace

On January 6, 2025, the Second Amendment community lost one of its most dedicated champions. Joanne D. Eisen passed away after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, leaving behind a legacy of tireless advocacy and impactful writings. [More]

This is sad news. We have lost a leader.

May her name be remembered with appreciation and gratitude for her work. That probably means more than a few gun owners need to discover for themselves what that work was.

Those Who Can’t

You’re looking at the new Global Studies teacher… [Watch]

Well, that didn’t last long:

Teacher arrested after threat that shut down NJ school district, police say…

I wonder what he said on his YouTube channel and if the school district knew about it.

If they take down his Facebook reel I recorded it with my phone camera because they say if it’s someone else’s reel it will be muted and I didn’t trust a third-party app.

Your Terms of Surrender

House Bill 12 by Rep. Joy Garratt (D-ABQ) allows law enforcement officers to bypass the need for a “reporting party” and go straight to filing a petition for an extreme risk protective order based on information collected by the officers — allowing them to be the sole source and mechanism by which an order is issued.
