Vindication

ACLJ VICTORY: Working with Empower Oversight, the ACLJ achieved a major victory for our whistleblower client, FBI Special Agent Marcus Allen, who exposed the corruption of FBI Director Christopher Wray’s agency. The Deep State FBI retaliated against Special Agent Allen – removing his security clearance. We employed a multipronged legal effort to fight back. Now his security clearance has been fully reinstated. [Watch]

It sounds interesting but I just don’t have an hour to spend on this. If you do, feel free to let us know how it went.

It figures the Biden/Garland/Wray administration smears a “great patriot” as a threat.

Chech and Balances

UPDATE: The Story of a Chechen Shot by a Special Ops Colonel Is Getting Weirder [More]

Sorry, I’m still not convinced it was a good shoot as opposed to “Only Ones” favoritism. Would I have had justification to use lethal force here, or would I be facing charges? Just not enough is known to pick up this banner and start waving it.

As for how the dead man’s family would know stuff that hasn’t been reported yet, I assume they have a lawyer and access to autopsy results and police communications not made public.

What Total Government Gun Control Looks Like

Just wait. They’ll turn up at crime scenes. And fuel more infringement hysteria.

If I may repeat myself:

Many of you know I used to do policies and procedures for a defense contractor, and we had inventory controls and secure stores protocols in place to account for and prevent stuff going “missing.” Quite simply, it’s not that hard to achieve.

So this is either inexcusable incompetence and laziness, or outright criminality. Either way, if this happened at an FFL’s place of business, he would be shuttered and facing charges.

On the plus side, even when they have total registration they can’t handle it. Of course, we’ve known that for some time.

What a way to dishonor a memory. I do wonder what he’d have thought of the coerced name change…

We’re the Only Ones All Charged Up Enough

Special Prosecutor Ric Hertel filed six additional charges against former Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel on Monday. Five counts of theft and one count of money laundering now raise Noel’s charge count to 31. Noel is still serving a 60-day jail sentence for contempt of court following the discovery of two guns at his Jeffersonville home earlier this year. [More]

We’re the Only Ones Former Enough

Former St. Francois County Sheriff’s Deputy, wife charged with attempted sexual trafficking of a minor… A former Missouri Sheriff’s Deputy… A former St. Francois County Sheriff’s Deputy… The sheriff’s department says they are shocked and saddened by the nature of the allegations against the former employee and co-worker. We get it. He’s “former.” There’s distance.

Why did it even need to be called in, with ShotSpotter on the job…?

It’s also fair to ask what personal choices Precious Jones, who “started the Breaking Generational Poverty Foundation in hopes of stopping gun violence,” and her family could have made differently over the years.

We’re the Only Ones Bashing Enough

The first lawsuit accuses the officer of illegally detaining and assaulting bar co-owner Chad Morris. Morris and his husband, James Pence, were in disbelief when police crashed into their bar in December. “There’s no Breathalyzer given there,” Khazaeli said. “Instead, they immediately move to cover up what they did wrong by making the victims the bad guys here.” [More]

Call Roto-Reuters, that’s the name…

In fairness, we wouldn’t be much of a “greatest threat” if we didn’t want to see an escalation of all that “mostly peaceful” street action. By Hamas-supporting leftists at the Democrat convention…

I’ve already bought the popcorn.

Meanwhile, Across the Pond…

A girl is in a critical condition after being shot by an attacker on a motorbike while having dinner with her family. The nine-year-old was one of four people injured shortly after 9pm on Wednesday at a restaurant in Hackney, east London. [More]

50 pounds says the attacker’s name is not even close to “Nigel” or “Cedric”…

And when it comes to England’s vaunted “gun control,” as I’ve long maintained, we ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

And if Lord High “Only One” Chief Supt Conway really believes that “indiscriminate nature of gun crime” blather he just spouted for mass swallowing, e’s a bleedin’ twit, e’ is.

Conspiracy Against Rights

A new law gives Maryland leaders the ability to sue the gun industry for their wrongful actions. This is a major step in holding the gun industry accountable when they break the law and exacerbate America’s gun violence crisis. [More]

There’s a solution.

But it requires someone with the will to use it.

We’re the Only Ones Unsatisfying Enough

“Georgia’s protections for property owners in civil forfeiture cases are already some of the weakest in the nation, and they were at risk of being watered down even further by the lower courts. But today’s decision ensures that law enforcement still must satisfy basic pleading requirements by alleging each element of a crime and the facts it believes indicate the crime was committed before it can seek to permanently forfeit someone’s property”… [More]

I thought that’s what convictions were for.

I’ve seen Leviathan, with unlimited resources, try to destroy a family by freezing their ability to pay for adequate defense. (Note: Many of the links on that page can only be accessed via the Wayback Machine.)
