On Second Thought

They are looking for an excuse to indict him…..and keep him under indictment. While indicted he won’t be able to run for office. If they can get him behind bars that’s just a bonus. It’s a virtual certainty they will have “found” i.e planted evidence during this bullshit raid. The American Gestapo nee FBI will do whatever their masters in the American Communist Party tell them to do. [More]

Yeah, that was my fourth thought after I called it a day. Stealing 2020 wasn’t enough– after seeing his CPAC straw poll results and knowing people will be paying attention next time, stealing 2024 calls for pulling out all the stops. If this fails, some may be deranged enough to want that assassination Bernard Kerik is publicly speculating on, and all I can say to that is if they thought Archduke Ferdinand was a catalyst for something bigger…

What I can’t tell at this point is if this is a long-planned step or if it’s a last-ditch desperation “Hail Mary” by the Dems who know their numbers are up for November.  Trust in government is at a low and a significant portion of the country believes the last election was stolen– not just a handful of lunatics in buffalo hats egged on by assorted provocateurs.  That also explains why the Dems are so adamant about this J6 business– if legitimacy in their rule is exposed for all to see as fraudulent, they’ve seen what happens when truckers in Canada and farmers in the Netherlands are roused. They know that F-15s and nukes aside, they’re hopelessly outnumbered on the ground– which is why they want our guns.

I find it significant that, at this writing, there is nothing in the Google News feed about Mitch McConnell weighing in on this. I sense a combination of feckless Republicans not knowing how real hardball is played and some of the old guard rooting for the Swamp because they believe they’ll have a place in it.

UPDATES

We’ll probably want to check in on Donald Trump’s Truth Social page from time to time for statements.  This seems like a point to hammer on:

The FBI And DOJ Criminalizing Opposition To The Regime Is How The Republic Ends [More]

So is that a bug or a feature?

[Via Michael G]

Every American should be frightened and mad as hell by such unprecedented police state thuggery tactics and there must be a complete dismantling and elimination of the FBI. This is too much for our republic to withstand,” concluded Congressman Gosar. [More]

FBI delenda est.

[Via Henry Bowman]

This is a provocation. They are trying to get a reaction that allows a further crackdown. Don’t take the bait. [More]

He’s right about deliberate provocation, but this piece feels incomplete. “Be smart” has to include more than “do nothing.”

Remember when Trump said it would be best for armed government agents to raid you and take your property first and then “go through due process second?” [More]

Helluva thing, being hoist with your own petard.

Who Were Those Masked Men?

Former Capitol Cop Edward Travis Page provided proof that he’s legit
— shared texts that he says are from Brian Sicknick, blaming “Antifa” on January 6th.
— says that January 6th committee witnesses LIMITED in what they’re allowed to say (i.e. can’t give both sides) [More]

So we’re being lied to by seditious conspirators…?

As Long as You’re Not Doing Anything Wrong… Are You?

Enrolled Agent: Conservatives Have Nothing to Fear From Beefed-up IRS as Long as They Haven’t Cheated [More]

How is this any different from “You won’t object to us searching you and your premises without a warrant and talking to you without your attorney if you have nothing to hide”?

And who believes this fascist dweeb has actual “GOP friends”?

Tangentially-related UPDATE:

Look at some of the replies. [More]

Most of those will never even question things unless they’re caught in the net. Most have never considered the implications behind “He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.”

Oh, Well This Proves EVERYTHING

Well, it turns out there are photos. And here they are, published for the first time. [More]

And this made the ever-sold-out Drudge.

Sr. Bedoya, the floor is yours:

Admissible evidence? We ain’t got no admissible evidence. We don’t need no admissible evidence. I don’t have to show you any stinking admissible evidence!

Is this really all they want us to need? What honest man wouldn’t rebel against that?

Funny. They don’t invite comments.

Leftists Going After Secretaries of State a Threat to Guns and More

“I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this—who will count the votes, and how.” [More]

Who better to put in charge of elections than Marxist sympathizers bent on “canceling” traditional Americans/gun owners?

The Take Arms from the NFAC Act of 2022

HR 8051 a 1,000% tax on all firearms and magazines listed in the AWB of 2022 bill. [Watch]

They have to use tricks because Donald Beyer Jr. and his 41 Democrat co-traitors behind this know that otherwise there is only a 1% chance of this passing.

Where have we seen such racist edicts pricing firearms out of the reach of discriminated-against populations before?

I wonder if Don’s going to personally tell them…?

‘Ready Succeptibility’

“Whether or not the Rifle used in the Attack was, in fact, modified to fire in a fully automatic fashion, its ready susceptibility to such modification rendered it a ‘machinegun’ as sold, prohibiting its sale to the general public,” the complaint alleges. [More]

That’s why some of us were so adamant against the doors the Trump “bump stock” ban would open. And why I have no patience with point-missing bloviators and their “stupid piece of plastic isn’t a hill worth dying on” ignorance…

She Who Commands

A House oversight panel on Tuesday subpoenaed gunmaker Smith & Wesson for documents on the manufacture and sale of AR-15-style semi-automatic rifles after its CEO refused to appear for a hearing on the firearms frequently used in mass shootings. [More]

In-your-face traitress Carolyn Maloney gives a hint as to the unrestrained sadism she would embrace if she only had the power.

Hopefully, their lawyers can stall things long enough for House Oversight power to change hands (assuming the Republicans don’t blow the “Red Wave”). And then, hopefully, the Republicans will learn to strap ’em on and play hardball and start issuing subpoenas of their own.

Gun Owners Voting for GOP Betrayers Only Encourage More of the Same

They can say the hell with it and vote for the Democrat gun-grabber to demonstrate that “moderate” Republican traitors are unacceptable, and until the rest of the party and Fudds for Fitzpatrick learn that, they can just feel our pain. [More]

With “Republicans” like these, who needs Democrats?

Preemptive Strike

In light of the shooting, Dyer said the city will implement checkpoints on weekends. People who want to visit the area of Orange Avenue from Washington to Pine Streets will have to walk through one of six pedestrian checkpoints…The city said people should expect to see more officers, K9s and metal detectors. There will also be a voluntary weapons screening at the checkpoints. [More]

What if we don’t “volunteer”?

So the patchwork quilt works against the Fourth Amendment and the Privileges and Immunities Clause, too?

Funny, how gun-grabbing Democrats like Buddy Dyer demand “commonsense infringements” on all freedoms

[Via Remarks]

What Price Freedom?

The federal government has unveiled how much they are planning to pay gun owners for the banned firearms they turn over as part of the mandatory buyback program. On Thursday, Public Safety Canada released a full price list outlining how much compensation individual owners can expect to receive under the program. Have they factored in the costs of citizens saying “No”?

A Criminal Mayor Conspiracy

GUN CONTROL MAYORS CONSPIRING AGAINST FIREARM MANUFACTURERS [More]

The Bloomberg criminals are picking up the “public nuisance” lawsuit strategy.

So when are industry reps Larry Keane and the NSSF going to do more than yack about it and call for their members to pick a target city like New York and go all Barrett on them?

Never Say Never

The level of GOP opposition indicates the bill is unlikely to advance in the evenly split Senate, where it would require the support of at least 10 Republicans to defeat a guaranteed filibuster. It’s also not clear if the measure has the support of all 50 Senate Democrats. [More]

Forgive me for wondering what kind of new incident would be enough to make it happen.
