That Warm Stuff Down My Back Must Be Rain

Donald Trump Jr. Drops Bombshell On The Fight for Gun Rights! [Watch]

Discrimination by payment processors is nothing new and needs to be addressed, but it sounds more like he’s enriching himself (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing). That said, bank discrimination can be ended with oversight measures and the real threat to RKBA comes from government, which we still don’t see the administration addressing.

I can’t help but recall the last time this guy said he’d fight for RKBA — and then promptly did nothing. Right now, the major “gun rights” story I see Don Jr. involved in deals with illegal duck kills from foxholes in Italy

But back to finance: What’s he convincing Dad to do about snitchware?

Your Tax Dollars at Work?

The whole thread is here.

And as long as we’re following threads, Everytown then donates to the “independent journalism project,” The Trace

Now here’s the caveat: As explained when people question why it says “Taxpayer funds $0”:

Just to clarify here folks, the money started off from USAID and was funneled around and ended up in the anti-gunners’ hands. It was not direct. Doesn’t change the fact that it started off in your bank account…

I’d like to see a forensic accountant’s take on this.

Learn from the Best

Notice: Friends, I hope you enjoy my timeline and the excellent articles posted here. But let me unapologetically remind all my friends that I use FB not only to inform but also to market my books because as a conservative author and academician, I have very few channels for promoting my work. So I appreciate your support while advancing the cause of freedom. [More]

I know exactly how he feels.

And I do what I can to promote his work. I’m slowly making progress on this and can tell from what I’ve read so far it will be another “excellent” review.

Promises to Keep

Second Amendment enthusiast Trump has little new to say on guns [More]

More like nothing, excuses by some YouTube “gunfluencers” making unsubstantiated “3D chess” inferences notwithstanding…

Sorry, not sorry if I just don’t see this and most of these actions on the same level as the fundamental and constitutionally stipulated right of the people to keep and bear arms. Surprise me, Mr. President. Release something subtantial you’ve been putting together that just required setting your team in place to actualize before you could announce it.

Do it today.

There’s nothing I’d like better than having my impatient doubts shoved back in my face.

Rumor Has It

It has been brought to my attention by a confidential source within the Trump Administration that Pam Bondi, Attorney General, is pushing for a candidate with a strong law enforcement background to head the ATF. This is not what we voted for. [Watch]

Not this guy again, I hope…

If it’s the one “cop” on the list, we could do worse.

That’s One Way to Shut ’em Up

Democrats cannot let go of January 6. The looniest of their left-wing activist groups has found a way to work that day into their calendars all year long. The Women’s March will now observe a moment of silence every Wednesday to remember the January 6 riot. [More]

Only a moment…?

And not to memorialize an unarmed woman murdered by a male enforcer…?

The NeverEnding Story

Gun Owners of America (GOA), Gun Owners Foundation (GOF), and the Coalition of New Jersey Firearm Owners, alongside plaintiff Heidi Bergmann-Schoch, have filed a lawsuit challenging New Jersey’s unconstitutional ban on possessing hollow point ammunition for self-defense outside the home. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, argues that the state’s restrictions violate the Second and Fourteenth Amendments by preventing law-abiding citizens from possessing and carrying the most effective forms of self-defense ammunition. Where it will be tied up for years with their legal opponent having virtually unlimited tax plunder to draw from…

There is a way around that, but so far, I’m the only one talking about it.

New Mexico Legislative Updates

Three new gun control bills have been filed, including one of the bills we have been anticipating. First, SB279, a ban on the sale or transfer of semiautomatic rifles was filed today… Second, SB244, a ban on minors possessing firearms with exemptions was filed… HB12, the expansion of New Mexico’s “red-flag” gun confiscation law will be heard in the House Judiciary Committee. [More]

And naturally, Democrats didn’t want to talk about permitless carry…

Scamming Since They Crossed the Border

Two Mexican nationals residing in the Kansas City area have been charged in federal court for their involvement in a conspiracy to stage numerous armed robberies. The alleged scheme was designed to help purported victims, who were immigrants, use their status as crime victims to apply for visas. [More]

They can’t deport some of these bastards fast enough.

Word of Advice

The National Association for Gun Rights is proud to share what may be the most significant and exciting development in our 25-year history. One of our founders, David Warrington, a pillar of strength in the fight for the Second Amendment, has been appointed as White House Counsel and Assistant to President Donald J. Trump. [More]

I’m not sure why they’re putting this out on Feb. 4– we talked about it last Dec. 10.

Anyway, if he has the president’s ear on 2A, that’s a good thing. What we need to see next are some of those “first week/first day” promises acknowledged and followed up on.

Still, this appointment may not make some NAGR critics happy…

Adventures in Baselessness

Carlos Jose Abreu, a 45-year-old national from the Dominican Republic, faces charges of “impersonating a United States citizen when registering to vote and when voting in a federal election,” according to a Department of Justice press release. He also faces a charge for unlawful possession of a firearm. [More]

What party did he register as?
