Tillis and Cornyn? Long overdue.
Prediction: They will both milk their vote for the HPA-inclusive budget for all it’s worth.

New York’s Nassau County seeks to ban standing within 15 feet of cops under bill panned as unconstitutional… “It is important that first responders are not obstructed during emergency situations and that our frontline heroes are allowed to engage in the lifesaving actions they are trained to perform without distractions,” legislator John Ferretti, a Republican, told the New York Post. Remember the “Red Wave” that never happened?
What if it’s intentional?
Never forget Bill Clinton mentor Carroll Quigley:
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy” (Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope, 1966.)
The Swamp won’t drain easily.

243 creates the waiting period that was eliminated long ago when Republicans made a “deal” with Democrats. Proving once again that making a deal with Democrats is a fool’s errand. [More]
In a bold but ultimately unsuccessful effort, State Rep. Brian Harrison (R–Midlothian) forced a vote Wednesday on a resolution to remove Texas House Speaker Dustin Burrows, accusing him of betraying Republican voters and handing power to Democrats… The final vote was 141-2, with five members present but not voting, and two absent. Republicans, they thirst for death.

On Facebook, Hodgkinson had featured a post that said, “[President Donald] Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.” Hodgkinson was also a member of Facebook groups “Terminate the Republican Party” and “The Road To Hell Is Paved With Republicans.” [More]
And by “Trump & Co.” and “Republicans,” they mean not just you, but ultimately, anyone who isn’t a fellow Bolshevik.
Oh, look: After two assassination attempts, self-appointed Terminators and the Pavers are still there!
Unlike me, they violated no “community standards.”

Minnesota Sen. Justin Eichorn was arrested on March 17, accused of soliciting a 17-year-old girl for prostitution in Bloomington. [More]
Of course, Democrats are having a field day with emotionally charged words like “looking to have sex with someone’s child” and “No one who solicits children belongs anywhere near public office or the State Capitol,” but the fact remains, the age of consent in Minnesota is 16.
But I agree, such behavior in a political leader is not only twisted but leaves him vulnerable to blackmail compromise, and he’s going to lose more than his seat: How about his wife, and the respect of his four children, not to mention his freedom…?
And on top of that he hurt every constituent who believed in the principles he espoused but did not live by, and gave the Democrats a weaponized sound bite to use against them.
Gun owners are already distancing themselves.
This isn’t aging well:

I hope somebody is telling him he’s already devastated his family enough and if he doesn’t want to have his memory be the stuff of nighmares for the rest of their lives, he won’t even think of trying to get out of this by eating a gun.

THE REPUBLICANS CAN STOP THIS [More]
If they don’t it’s because they don’t want to, meaning Oregon gun owners must look to the Republican feds, who don’t seem to want to, either.
Taking $200 Out of an ATM Should Not Trigger Federal Financial Surveillance… Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the change “underscores our deep concern with the significant risk to the U.S. financial system of the cartels, drug traffickers, and other criminal actors along the Southwest border.” [More]
Maybe they can get some more of those “Always Think Forfeiture” Leathermans made up…
So, yet again, government creates problems it uses as an excuse to crack down on those of us paying for it. And this time, it’s “law and order Republicans.”

We want the truth no matter who is exposed.
What kind of fool would even think to do that? Blackmailable Republicans can be a bigger liability than Democrats. We shouldn’t have to worry about people who have been entrusted in positions of responsibility and power being filthy, sneaky swine.
