White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention YEAR ONE PROGRESS REPORT [More]
Funny, how they claim “the Department of Justice reporting that, from January to June, homicides dropped 17% compared to the same time last year. In addition, data from the Gun Violence Archive indicates that the number of mass shootings to date in 2024 has decreased by 20 percent compared to the same period last year” during a time of surging gun sales.
For some reason, Pete Buttigieg didn’t respond.
He hasn’t explained the report flaws, either, where the media is pushing misleading crime stats to echo the Democrat narrative, but instead just links to an Axios report as if that’s proof.
And we know how reliable they are…
Harris Silent on Past Promise to Give ‘Dreamers’ Pathway to Citizenship – The campaign also didn’t say if Harris would support “using ‘parole in place” for any other group of undocumented immigrants.”[More]
Of course it’s what she intends. She just doesn’t weant to tell the electorate until after she’s in office.
To amend sections 2923.13 and 2923.14 and to enact section 2923.133 of the Revised Code to prohibit certain conduct regarding trigger cranks, bumpfire devices, and other items that accelerate a semi-automatic firearm’s rate of fire but do not convert it into an automatic firearm. [More]

GOA Files Amicus Brief in Challenge to Maryland AWB @ SCOTUS [More]
How much longer is SCOTUS going to allow inferior courts like the Fourth Circuit to snub thier noses at Bruen?

The US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit heard oral argument today in the Reese v. ATF lawsuit involving a federal gun control law preventing young adults from purchasing handguns from FFLs. [Watch]
The ultimate absurdity is young adults being old enough to vote for the government to tell them they’re not old enough to own guns.

New Anti-Gun Group Focused on State Legislatures [More]
To quote a line from The Patriot:
Would you tell me please, Mr. Howard, why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man’s rights as easily as a king can.

Almost daily, legislators propose new gun laws aimed at reducing crime rates. However, both new and existing laws are unlikely to impact crime significantly. With over 90 years of gun control legislation and crime data, it’s clear that these laws do little to curb criminality or save lives. [More]
“Gun Control” doesn’t work, at least for its stated justification.
A bill introduced after a mass shooting in Maine would require the Army to use state crisis intervention laws to remove the weapons of a service member who is deemed to be a serious threat to themselves or others, U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, the bill’s sponsor, said Monday. [More]
“Deemed” how? What part does due process play?
And if he’s a “serious threat,” will he still have physical access to the public?
