Where to begin?
Relatives flew in last night and are staying at our place for a week. Meanwhile, wife and I have to leave them here tomorrow for an out-of-state weekend because her niece is getting married. Then my sister comes in on the 1st from AZ and will be here through the 7th. I have big family doings on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th, with me hosting a horde on Independence Day… I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn’t have enough money for cab fare…
I still have one article in at AmmoLand and one at Firearms News I’ll publicize if they post before we leave tomorrow morning at o-dark-thirty, and when we get back there’s a deadline on my next American Handgunner piece…
This is all my way of saying please hold off on emails, news tips, comments, and death threats until I give the “All Clear,” otherwise I fear it will be a wasted effort for you. I’ll try to get to some of the tips currently in the inbox and will post comments received up to quitting time this evening, but after that everything will need to wait for me to be able to get to it.

Enough.She didn’t just operate it on her own. Who told her to run a document through? Put them on the hot seat.
Who “authorized” her? Who are the “members of the inner circle”? Why hasn’t she been threatened with contempt unless she gets specific with “So-and-so directed me to have this signed?”
This could undo every law, every appointment, every EO going back to who knows when? Are Republicans ever going to strap ’em on and act like this is the existential spiritual and physical war that it is?
Oversight never played real hardball with Fast and Furious, either.

I don’t take back any of my concerns for heeding the Constitution. That said, it was a remarkable operation. Let’s hope this really works and lasts.
If it does, let’s see how the Democrats handle credit where due. How will they be able to avoid praise and a Nobel Prize?
