Gabbard to headline fundraiser at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort [More]
Just one YUGE problem, Mr. “Best Friend Gun Owners Have Ever Had“…
[Via bondmen]
Trump was asked about half a dozen potential running mate choices: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina, multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, a Democrat turned independent. [More]
I see two who are problematic right off the bat:
Tim Scott picked Lisa Murkowski over Kelly Tshibaka. That and he’s a lying prior restraint/no real due process gun-grabber.
And Tulsi’s a totalitarian on guns.
All it takes is a missed heartbeat.
We don’t need the crowd going wild. We need adults with his ear telling him that once more, it’s his to blow with gun owners.
“I just bought shoptrumpsneakers.com” the activist wrote. [More]
Destined to be every bit as successful as Good Pillow.
Meanwhile, we’re not giving up our guns and he can’t shake the knowledge that he’s impotent to force us, so all he can do is troll for attention from other weaklings who also don’t matter.

McDaniel blamed him for some of the RNC’s fundraising woes, saying his organization is collecting from donors who would otherwise fund a more robust party effort. [More]
Right, because if you donate to the RNC instead of only to deserving candidates, your money helps fund the subversion of Susan Collins, Brian Fitzpatrick, and the Swamp.
As for questioning the national worship-worthiness of “socialist” MLK, or how quotas vs. merit have observable negative repercussions, what informed thinking person doesn’t do that?
If you warn Trump about Charlie Kirk, do it because he’s just another Vichycon fraud. And that NBC News, like the rest of the DSM, is gaslighting Republicans to distance themselves from what’s supposed to make them different from Democrats lest they be smeared as racists– which they will be, regardless.

Hence the noisy raid to cover up what they were really looking for…?

Donald Trump boasted that he did “nothing” to alter the Second Amendment during his time as president – just hours after a mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade left one person dead and dozens more injured. [More]
First of all, that’s not quite true, but Joe will now explain what moron criminal scumbags have to do with protection of the lawful exercise of Second Amendment rights agaiunst infringements.
What? He won’t?
Because his only agenda here is to rile up the ignorant to vote for Joe Biden and demand more citizen disarmament edicts, demonstrable by the patehtically transparent way he’s latched onto parroting the gun-grabber narrative du jour…?
You suck, Joe. You’re the reason “mainstream” media is held in contempt and I call them the DSM. But keep trying to please master to avoid being discarded.

Well, they nabbed one of them…for another crime. [More]
Alvin’s interested in power through agenda advancement, not public safety.
Who would be dumb enough to think otherwise?

Donald Trump’s promise to “restore law and order” by indemnifying police officers “against any and all liability” appeals to that sentiment, even as it underestimates the difficulty of successfully suing police officers and overlooks the fact that cops already are routinely indemnified against damages when plaintiffs manage to overcome the barrier created by qualified immunity. [More]
Yet much of the non-critical thinking audience practically orgasmed when he announced it.
USA! USA!

The former president and — legal challenges aside — presumed GOP contender for the office in November, knew just which buttons to push to stoke the boundless enthusiasm of the thousands of supporters. [More]
This is what we’ve got to work with. And work we must.
Why Trump was charged and Biden wasn’t [More]

I left suddenly on Thursday because I’d just gotten my press credentials approved to hear Donald Trump speak at NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show and had to get to Harrisburg, PA.
I spent yesterday writing it up for Firearms News.

Magliocca watched as Republicans such as Sens. Mitch McConnell and Mitt Romney described the attack as an “insurrection.” [More]
Ah, the same “Republican leaders” all in on the Schumer invasion plot…
It’s almost like controlled opposition or something…

It would be a “yuge” mistake. Knowing the truth about Kennedy’s historic support for citizen disarmament would take the fire out of a lot of gun-owning voters’ bellies. [More]
Stop me if you’ve heard about Trump’s advisors giving him crap advice before. Would you really vote to put someone who doesn’t trust you with guns a heartbeat away from the presidency?

Why was this a surprise to his high-priced lawyer?
And the stupid, biased jurors remind me of this lynch mob.

President Trump Calls on ‘All Willing States’ to Deploy Their National Guards to Texas to Defend U.S-Mexico Border as Red State Alliance Grows to 25 [More]
While the rest of his statement plays well with MAGA voters, calling for that and not having checked to see if anyone would do it seems like more of the same impulsiveness that is one of his most vulnerable flaws, and can’t serve well in his current legal cases.

“Now she’s got to sharpen her message… she’s got a month to make her case,” noted Reed, who is once again neutral in the GOP nomination after helping to steer a super PAC that was supporting former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s unsuccessful 2024 campaign. [More]
Right. A “Never Trumper” Vichycon Christie supporter is “neutral.”
I also see Faux News’ Paul Steinhauser made a point of throwing sand on frontrunner momentum and emphasizing “Iowa’s low-turnout Republican presidential caucuses” and “the former president’s nearly twelve point margin over Haley was below what most of the final public opinion surveys conducted ahead of the primary had suggested.”
With “real reporter” layoffs becoming a thing, I guess he’s trying to stay competitive with AI…
